Nation Revisited

# 78, April 2011

Mind Britain’s Business

Since taking office Dave Cameron has sidelined his lunatic fringe, formed a working coalition with the Liberal Democrats and taken steps to reduce the deficit. But he has blown his credibility by taking sides in the Libyan civil war. He says that he wants to help Libya’s oppressed citizens but there are too many oppressive states around the world for us to take them all on.

He has learned nothing from the futile wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that cost over a million lives and $1 trillion. Dave Cameron was chosen by Tory Central Office because he is a young man with an attractive wife and family – not for his grasp of international affairs. One is reminded of Maximilien Robespierre who said of Jean-Paul Marat: “This man is dangerous, he believes what he says.”

NATO’s military campaign is a CIA ‘Bay of Pigs’ operation in support of rebel forces led by former resistance fighter Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi, who was captured by the Americans in Afghanistan in 2002. Dave Cameron and Nicolas Sarkozy are following American orders; so much for the national sovereignty that we hear so much about.

A rebel victory could undermine the deal that Colonel Gaddafi made with the Italians and the EU to stop refugees flooding into Europe. Having used our armed forces to enforce American foreign policy we may have to use them to patrol the Mediterranean and protect Europe’s southern shore from invasion.

We do not have the jobs, the houses, the room or the resources to take any more refugees. In future Dave Cameron should worry about British pensioners struggling to pay their fuel bills and young people trying to find jobs and pay mortgages. There are enough pressing problems at home without wasting our time and money on adventures in the desert.

Public opinion

As we attempt to cut our staggering national deficit house prices and wages are falling instead of going up. This is a difficult concept to grasp because it’s not what we are used to. Since the end of the Second World War our standard of living has risen as each generation did a little better than the one before.  It’s shocking to realise that our children will be poorer than us. For the first time in living memory we are obliged to live within our means and make do without luxuries, like new cars and foreign holidays that we have long taken for granted. We will have to change our entire way of living and stop depending on credit.

The boom that has just busted was funded by borrowing and sustained by cheap imports from Asia. The cheap imports are still flooding in but the borrowing has had to stop because we have run out of credit. As our economy shrinks and our spending power diminishes we will stop buying computers, televisions and all the latest electronic equipment from China and Korea. This will force the Asians to target their domestic markets instead of relying on cash-strapped Europeans and Americans. Their emerging middle class will look for higher salaries to pay for better housing, education and health care. The relentless search for improved standards of living will drive up property prices and production costs and lead to a fall in exports and savings. Within a generation or two the East will develop the same problems as the West. “The number of Chinese aged 60 and over is already 12.5% of the nation’s population. By 2050 the current worker to senior citizen ratio of10:1 will fall to 2.5 from 1. All G7 and BRIC countries, with the exception of India, will have more aged societies by 2050 than in 2011.” (Brian Friedman. Vicinitee magazine, March 2011)

We do not have to live under uncontrolled global capitalism. An economy with sufficient population, territory and resources could be planned and managed. But it would require a leap of imagination that is way beyond most people, particularly politicians who always live in the past, even those with radical pretentions.

According to Joseph Goebbels public opinion is: “a hideous mish-mash of stupidity, cowardice and vulgarity.” People believe what they read in newspapers and what they are told by politicians. Few of them know what’s in store for them. With the national deficit at record levels they will earn less money; pay higher taxes and work years longer for smaller pensions. This is their reward for believing the lies of the old gang politicians.  They believed that borrowing and immigration were under control; some of them even believed that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Like trusting lambs they were led to slaughter by a gang of professional liars. Now they are being told that we had to intervene in Libya to save the population from a mad dictator.

The public should have learned their lesson by now but the results of the Oldham and Barnsley by- elections show increased support for the Labour Party. Of course they were in areas where the locals would vote for a donkey with a red rosette. In the rest of England most people vote Tory, but Scotland, Wales and the North of England are solidly Labour. We can only hope that devolution and voting reform will keep the Labour Party out of power. The Tories are bad enough but we might not survive another Labour government.

Sensible policies

Those of us who believe in European unity and social justice have been without a political party since Union Movement folded more than thirty years ago. Various groups publish magazines and propagate UM ideas but we haven’t got a proper political party. The fight against Third World immigration was taken up by right-wing Tories and their allies but they have no alternative to global capitalism.

Mosley commented on them in Europe: Faith and Plan published by Euphorean Books in 1958:

“The emotions which inhibit the will to necessary change are by no means all unworthy. A mistaken sense of patriotism is partly responsible; mistaken because true patriotism is living, organic, developing and forward-looking, not dying and nostalgic for an irretrievable past. A type of conservatism which in itself is healthy and desirable erects another barrier to the progress without which nothing can be finally conserved. It is a sound instinct to conserve traditions, institutions, an outlook and a way of life which are deep-rooted and therefore confer the supreme benefit of stability on the society they sustain. But in an age of rapid change they must be capable of quick adaptation to fresh facts and of swift development to meet new situations, or they become a curse to the community which they have previously blessed.”

After the war Mosley embraced Europe and abandoned policies based on the British Empire because it was obviously finished. But former BUF editor AK Chesterton refused to accept the end of Empire and clung to pre-war policies. John Bean tried to bridge the gap between them with his original British National Party policy of European confederation. But when the National Front was formed in 1967 Bean’s policies were dumped and the obsolete nationalism of the far-right was set in stone.

But now events are moving in our favour:

The influx of economic refugees from Africa, Asia and the Caribbean has united Dave Cameron, Nicolas Sarkozy, Angela Merkel and Silvio Berlusconi in belatedly calling for immigration controls. Their liberal hearts might be bleeding but they rely on the votes of the masses.

The global recession has shown the underlining strength of the European Union and the advantage of being on a big ship in a storm. Only UKIP and their allies still think that we could go-it-alone. Most people would like to see a British party defending Britain’s interests inside the EU.

The misguided BNP is tearing itself apart in a frenzy of self-destruction. Whoever replaces Nick Griffin should take a good look at their manifesto.

We need a party with sensible and realistic policies for the 21st century. Nobody seriously believes that we can resurrect the British Empire or disengage from the European Union. We cannot put the clock back but we can stop Third World immigration and protect British jobs and living conditions.

We do not have a party or a leader at the moment but providence usually produces the right man at the right time. We can only hope that someone with the necessary breadth of vision will emerge. We do not know what the future holds or the final extent of European solidarity. Will Russia join the EU? Will the USA survive as a world power?  Whatever happens we face the challenges of climate change and overpopulation. But waving flags and chanting slogans will not save us; the days of backward-looking nationalism are over.

The periphery

The mainstream political parties all seek the centre ground and leave the extremes of left and right to minority parties. The left-wing parties are anti-globalist but so are some of the right-wingers. They include monarchists, morris dancers and metric martyrs who oppose any change. But they also harbour revolutionaries who are just as radical as their opponents on the extreme left.

Within the French Front National the spiritual heirs of Action Francaise, who believe in a traditional Catholic monarchy, coexist with the Parti Populaire Francais element that fought for Europe against the Soviet Union. The former FN leader Jean Marie Le Pen is pro-Israel but he nevertheless described the Holocaust as “a detail of history.” And despite their racist reputation the FN boasts non-white members. In the March 2011 cantonal elections the FN won two seats and scored 12% under the leadership of Marine Le Pen.

Some commentators define political groups as ‘libertarian’ or ‘authoritarian.’ Under this system fascists and communists are grouped together as authoritarians and liberals, conservatives and socialists are classed as libertarians. But this is just as inaccurate as the old left-right system. Republicans who supported George Bush cannot possibly be described as libertarians when their policies have killed and maimed millions of people and enslaved entire nations.

NATO condemns the Taliban as an extremist movement, but when the very same people were fighting the Red Army the Americans and the Saudis backed them with arms and billions of dollars and hailed them as freedom fighters.

Perhaps the most significant division of the parties is between the pro and anti Zionists. Israel is backed by sympathetic Jews around the world but also by evangelical Christians who dominate politics in the USA.

In Europe the religious right scarcely exists but Zionism is supported by the old gang and most of the far-right groups. There is no logical reason why a party standing for the separation of Flanders from Belgium should be pro-Zionist, but Vlams Belang most certainly is; and so is Lega Nord, the Italian regionalist party that is part of the governing coalition. In fact, the far right parties of Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Austria are all pro-Zionist.
In Britain the BNP achieved representation on local and county councils, the London Assembly and the European Parliament.  But following a series of expulsions, defections, legal actions and disastrous election results it appears to be falling apart. Their leader, Nick Griffin tried to improve his image by courting the Jews but they simply didn’t believe that the former editor of The Rune had changed his tune.

The BNP claim to believe in freedom and independence but their ‘free trade’ policies put them firmly on the side of the New World Order. And unlike their French counterparts they have not been able to keep their various factions together. Until they learn to tolerate different opinions they will remain on the periphery and out of touch with the electorate.

The Trial of Galileo

We like to think that we are more liberated than our predecessors but freedom of expression is constrained by dogma just as it was in previous centuries. Global capitalism, multi-racialism and the approved version of modern history are ‘articles of faith’ that cannot be disputed. Anyone who questions these ‘sacred canons’ is likely to be prosecuted. But current restrictions will one day seem just as ridiculous as old ideas of right and wrong. The following extract is from Race, Heredity and Civilisation by Professor W George published by the Britons Publishing Co in 1961.

Those ministers who are tempted to make dogmatic statements and decisions about worldly matters based on their interpretations of the scriptures and try to impose “the Christian position” on the people would do well to read and ponder the sentence imposed on Galileo for demonstrating the theorem proved by Copernicus in 1530 that the Earth is not the centre of the Universe. It reads in part as follows:

We say, pronounce, sentence, declare that you, the said Galileo, by reason of the matters adduced in this trial, and by you confessed as above, have rendered yourself in the judgement of this Holy Office vehemently suspected of heresy, namely of having believed and held the doctrine – which is false and contrary to the sacred and divine scriptures – that the Sun is the centre of the World and does not move from east to west, and that the Earth moves and is not the centre of the World. And that consequently you have incurred all the censures and penalties imposed and promulgated in the sacred canons and other constitutions, general and particular, against such delinquents.

The secular state persecutes dissident writers just as the Church did in the 17th century. Modern writers from Francis Parker Yockey to David Irving are just as innocent as Galileo. Everybody knows that the Christian concept of the Earth as the centre of the Universe was wrong but it took brave men like Galileo to make the truth known. Ideas, like matter, cannot be destroyed. The state can use all their powers of censorship but the truth will eventually prevail.

History records that Britain went to war with Germany because of our treaty with Poland. But Hitler’s offers of peace with Britain and France are never mentioned.  Axis atrocities are remembered but Allied war crimes such as the destruction of Dresden and the atomic bombing of Japan are justified; and the brutal treatment of the Germans after the war is simply ignored.

Global capitalism has decimated the industries of Europe and North America by exporting jobs to Asia and importing cheap goods and cheap labour. But instead of being criticised big business is glorified by the media and protected by the government. And those who oppose the ‘New World Order’ risk the same treatment that was dished out to Galileo.

But times are changing. Modern communications are making it harder for governments to keep us in the dark. The Internet revolution will sweep away state propaganda. The age of ignorance is over.

Education

According to the Tories their spending cuts and raised taxes will wipe out the national deficit in five years. The Labour Party insists that the cuts are too deep and will make matters worse. Each party has got gangs of trained economists on hand to spout figures and make guesses but the fact is that nobody knows.

There’s no arguing with physics; gravity works every time that you drop the toast, and the Earth goes around the Sun without fail. But economics is not a science – it’s more of a religion. We must remember that the politicians who presided over the destruction of British industry were educated men. Harold Wilson was reckoned to be a brilliant economist but that didn’t stop him from devaluing the pound and promising us that: “it will not affect the pound in your pocket.”

Gordon Brown was another economic genius who managed to run up the biggest deficit in our history. The track record of brilliant economists is abysmal. It would probably be better to put somebody in charge of the economy who usually stacks the shelves at the local supermarket.

Those of us who have not been trained in economics recognise simple signs of prosperity. Construction cranes are a good indication and so are busy high streets and crowded bars and restaurants. At present there are few cranes about, the high streets are full of charity shops and the pubs and restaurants are struggling. You don’t have to study spreadsheets to know that we are having a hard time.

People know that we will get over the recession and have another boom in a few years time. They might not understand economics but they know that these things work to a cycle. They have come to this conclusion by observation and experience not because they have read a thesis on the subject.

They know that house prices and wages will go up and unemployment will come down when the global bubble of production grows; and they know that when it bursts we will go back to hard times and austerity.

If we had a self-contained economy we would be able to manage it. But we are part of the world trade circus and can only wait for the carrousel to come round. So long as we are tied to world trade we are at the mercy of commodity prices over which we have no control. And it doesn’t matter how hard we try to be frugal if Chinese production costs drive up the cost goods on which we depend.

It’s obviously better to live within our means and stop wasting money on pointless foreign wars. But until we achieve self-sufficiency, and quit NATO, we are stuck with the present system. George Osborne’s budget was fair and reasonable but it was announced against a background of yet another war; this time in Libya. Once again highly educated politicians are launching missiles costing millions of pounds as they preach economic prudence. We are being forced to work harder to pay for military efforts in defence of American interests. Ordinary people who have not had the advantage of an expensive education would not be so stupid. They would spend our money at home.

I am not afraid of minarets – Luc Michel www.pcn-ncp.com

The imperial peoples do not seek their roots; they do not cultivate the patriotism of the cemeteries (which led to the mass suicide of Europe in 1914). Imperial peoples fight for their destiny, they build states and civilizations. I belong to an imperial culture, that of the Roman Empire. My mother tongue, Latin, is the one stemming from the Empire. My ideological and philosophical ancestors built the Acropolis and the Caesars’ Rome, Alexandria and Byzantium, Moscow of the Third Rome and the Paris of the Jacobin Great Nation
I’m not afraid of minarets, no more than of church towers! This fear is that of cowards and powerless people, of small-minded nationalism and of micro-regionalism frightened by their smallness and their mediocrity; that of Bush and bin Laden, of the losers of the far right and their Islamic or Zionist twins.

My homeland is the Greater Europe from Vladivostok to Reykjavik and from Quebec to the Sahara. My homeland is of yesterday when called the Imperium Romanum and of tomorrow. As my compatriot Alexis Curvers said, “I am a citizen of the Roman Empire.”
What would the European People be afraid of? We are one billion from the Pacific to the Atlantic, from the mouth of the St Lawrence to the shores of the Mediterranean, our Mare Nostrom. I believe in the creative force of great cultures, not in the sterile war of civilizations. The only cultural war that concerns me is that imposed upon me by the Yankee anti-civilization with its excrement and vomit, made in Hollywood or made in McDo.

At Leptis Magna or Douros Europa, I still hear the voice of the Caesars. In Cordoba or in Granada I know they taught Greco-Roman science and philosophy. As in Franco-Arab Sicily of Emperor Frederick II, “the first European in my taste”, says Nietzsche. And in Istanbul, a twice Imperial city, “2010 European Capital of Culture, in Kemalist Turkey which has its roots in the French Revolution; I see taking form the same European culture as in Paris, Moscow or Berlin. Europe is not geographical or ethnic. As once the Roman Empire, it is a machine to make Europeans with the barbarians of the margins of yesterday. Mazzini rightly said that “Europe is a marching fighting community.”

The All-Russia State, multi-ethnic and multi-religious (such is its historical vocation), rebuilt by the “Siloviki”, which is a strong state, and whose Interior Minister’s name is Rashid Nurgaliyev, is not afraid either of minarets! “Russia is a multiethnic state and that is precisely what makes its strength. Those who torpedo these foundations of the state, whatever they say, undoubtedly destabilize the country”, said Putin.

Only the weakness of European western regimes, Yankee colonies castrated by NATO, which have dropped their sovereign functions for Washington for six decades, allows the insolent swagger of radical Islamic minorities, their hijacking of the Muslims of both shores of the Mediterranean and their exploitation by Yankee imperialism.

Nation Revisited Interview

In the absence of volunteers, I reply to the five questions that I asked last year.

Who are you?

Bill Baillie, a lifelong critic of liberal democracy. As a boy my best friend’s father was a pre-war fascist who took us to Mosley meetings. We were at John Bean’s NLP meeting in Trafalgar Square in 1959. I joined the League of Empire Loyalists in 1960 and the Mk 1 BNP a year later. In 1966 I went to South Africa and returned in 1970, by way of Australia and New Zealand. By that time I had become convinced that Mosley was right about Europe, so I joined Union Movement.

What do you believe in?

I believe in the survival of European civilisation and the creation of a fair society.  Governments control the airways, the roads and the railways with legislation and they can control big business in the same way. Capitalism can’t be abolished but it can be managed. People should have access to affordable housing, free health care and education. We could afford decent conditions if we stopped trying to feed and defend half the World. The massive bonuses paid to bankers are as bad as the handouts given to the workshy. We need to make drastic changes to taxes and benefits that reward hard work and discourage dependency.

If you could direct government policy what would you do?

Quit NATO, it has outlived its original purpose and is now just an instrument of American foreign policy. Let the USA pursue her own destiny in the North American Free Trade Area while we develop the European Union. We should withdraw British forces from Afghanistan and keep out of foreign wars. But we should help the rest of Europe to defend our continent from military or economic invasion.

Law-abiding settlers should be protected but all foreign criminals, dole-scroungers, bogus asylum seekers, illegal immigrants and undesirables should be deported. We have got enough parasites of our own without importing them.

Stop usury. At present the banks pay 0.5% on deposits and charge 19% on loans. Fair interest rates should be set and enforced by the government.

What are you proud of and what do you regret?

I am proud of sticking to my beliefs when others were brainwashed by The Daily Mail. An opinion poll in that esteemed organ on March 15th 2011 asked the question: “After 38 years, is it time Britain was given a referendum on membership of the EU?” Only19% voted ‘yes’ and a resounding 81% voted ‘no’. It seems that even the blue-rinsed brigade have accepted reality. As for regrets, I have none. What’s done is done, let’s look to the future.

How would you like to be remembered?

As someone who searched for the truth.

Nation Revisited

An occasional e-mail to friends, # 58, August 2009

Defending our interests

The BNP have over a hundred councilors at parish, borough and county level, one member of the Greater London Assembly and two seats in the European Parliament. The UK Independence Party has a similar number of councilors, two members of the House of Lords and thirteen MEPs.

These look-alike parties hate each other but they have identical policies on immigration, Zionism and world trade. They rely on trading arrangements that were destroyed by six years of bloody fratricide that left us with bombed out factories and empty coffers. But we lost our imperial markets at Bretton Woods in 1944 when we were forced to tie the pound to the dollar in return for vital American loans. That’s why we joined the EU in the first place.

They advocate “free trade,” a system based on cheap labour, unprotected markets, open borders and an American-style “flexible” workforce that can be dismissed at will. Our current working conditions are guaranteed by our membership of the EU, the world’s largest trading bloc with half a billion people and the potential for self-sufficiency. Unfortunately it’s still cursed with petty nationalism and liberalism but these conditions can be cured.

Britain’s industrial decline predates our membership of the EU. The importation of cheap labour goes back to the infamous British Nationality Act of 1948, and cheap imports are the result of World Trade Organization treaties drafted by the USA; the current Doha round dates from 2001.

The far right are worried about losing our identity but their fears are groundless.
After 36 years in the EU we are still British and the Irish are still Irish. Nobody has lost his or her nationality by belonging to the EU. But if we don’t stop the Third World invasion we will disappear as a European nation. If we quit the EU tomorrow we would still have 6 million Afro-Asian immigrants. This is a problem that can only be solved by international agreement.

BNP/ UKIP can’t turn the clock back. If they really want to preserve our identity they must reconsider their policies. It’s not a matter of abandoning principles but of accepting reality. There is nothing unpatriotic about European solidarity and there is no future in clinging to obsolete economic policies. Third World immigration and global capitalism threaten all the countries of Europe. As individual states we lack the money and political clout to solve these problems but together we can do almost anything.

Keeping within the law

Legislation forcing political parties to accept members of all races is being used to embarrass those campaigning against immigration. This should not be a problem if people keep their heads. When asked how many black and Jewish members were in Union Movement Jeffrey Hamm used to say that he had no idea because he didn’t ask people their race or religion. It’s not necessary to formally exclude minorities. We can defend our culture and identity without falling foul of the Race Relations Act.

The Heretical Two, Simon Sheppard and Stephen Whittle, were refused political asylum in America and sent back to the UK to serve long prison sentences. Sheppard got 4 years 10 months and Whittle got 2 years 4 months for “inciting racial hatred.”  But if they had chosen their words more carefully they could have got their message across and remained at liberty.

Some of our laws are unjust and unnecessary but so long as they are on the statute book we must abide by them. The far-right parties will not be inundated with immigrants if they relax their membership rules. They might get a few exotic members but there have always been a few dedicated National Socialists of non-European origin. Some of the hardliners will probably keep their membership restrictions and risk going to prison. But they will achieve nothing by sticking their necks out.

Sir Oswald Mosley explained his views on race and many other subjects in his 1961 book Mosley Right or Wrong?

Question 120. What are the practical effects of your views on race?
 .
Answer. It is right to be proud of your race and to want to preserve it, just as it is right to be proud of your family and to want to preserve it. Race exists just as much as family exists and in much the same way. It is simply a wider form of relationship.” Of course, a lot of nonsense is talked about race as about most of the great truths in nature. It is exaggerated nonsense both ways.

I am a practical man and was brought up originally in the very practical trade of agriculture, in which my family was engaged for many generations. Therefore, I know the difference between the Ayrshire breed which specializes in milk production, and the Aberdeen Angus breed which specializes in beef production. If you tell us that there is no such thing as difference in breed and that all these animals are just the same, all farmers will begin to laugh at you. And we should equally laugh at you if you spent a lot of time fiddling about in dusty alcoves to prove that they were both descended from some buffalo in central Europe centuries ago, which had little beef on it and yielded even less milk because it was busy escaping from the wild animals which were chasing it around.

What matters is that over a long period of time and for a variety of reasons animals developed in this world with very different characteristics, animals which above all, can do different things. And still more is this the position in the case of human beings, who for a very long time have had very different environments and experience from one another in addition to being different breeds. The great third factor of education is added to heredity and environment in human affairs, and the consequent evolution of a culture increases rather than diminishes difference. It is unnecessary to remind ourselves of the vital fact that men have human intelligence and will, which have enabled them to progress much faster in their different directions – differentiation and diversity as the scientist call it.

Of course human beings are different from one another and have different capacities and so have different races. If you don’t agree with that get into the ring with a professional boxer if you are a university professor, and get into the laboratory and try to do the professor’s work if you are a boxer. All these nonsensical theories about everything being the same are quickly exploded by a little practice. Races are different from each other. That is the first basic fact to recognize.

Question 121. Do you think some races are superior to others?

Answer. Superior is a term I never use. Different is the word I use. What is superiority? It is a loose and generally ridiculous term. All men may be equal in the sight of God. But when it comes to hammering in a nail, mending a broken motor or doing a sum in higher mathematics, a lot of men can do the job much better than I can. On the other hand there may be some things I can do better than they can. Our capacities are different, that is the long and short of it. Therefore, who can judge what is superiority? – even if such a thing exists in any absolute sense?

So let us face the fact that men are different, and not muddle ourselves with silly talk about superiority. Such attitudes lead in turn to the opposite error of pretending that all men and races are just the same.

I do not know in this matter which type I find the more ridiculous: the albino rabbit claiming to be a Nordic superman because he looks like a Scandinavian whose family has spent some generations in the Tropic of Cancer, or the masochistic denigrator of all western values, who on the one hand tells us that Negroes are just the same as we are because they have white palms to their hands, and on the other proclaim that their primitive simplicity is so superior to us that he kisses their feet in an agony of self-abasement.

What these neurotics really mean, of course, is that they feel the primitive is preferable to their own particular brand of exhausted decadence, and in this matter, for once, they are right.

Independence

Only those who have enough money in the bank and the health and strength to look after their families can be described as independent. Most people depend on a job and the support of family and friends, and most of them are tied to mortgages, bank loans and credit cards. When the kids have grown up and the house is paid for they might enjoy a few years of relative independence but most people spend their lives under the threat of financial insecurity.

It’s exactly the same with countries. Russia is virtually independent because she can feed and defend herself. The Russian Federation stretches from the Baltic to the Pacific and has abundant natural resources. But most countries are not so fortunate. The United States has almost everything that she needs. The Americans import oil on a massive scale but they could increase domestic production and reduce demand if they really wanted to. There are still massive reserves of oil in Alaska and Canada waiting for the price to go up to make them viable. China and India are developing at an astonishing rate but their populations are increasing exponentially.

Small countries with natural resources are at the mercy of the big powers. The United States attacked Iraq in order to grab her oil and eliminate a potential threat to Israel. “Weapons of mass destruction” was a lie to mask good old-fashioned larceny. The war in Afghanistan is similarly about the Central Asian gas fields and has little to do with the “war on terror” or the opium trade. The UK is involved simply as a supplier of cannon fodder.  America has had a free hand since Nicolas Sarkozy and Angela Merkel replaced Jacques Chirac and Gerhard Schroeder. Oil-rich Norway would probably have been invaded but for her membership of NATO and the European Economic Area.

New nuclear warheads, missiles and submarines are needed to keep up with the latest developments in mass murder. We don’t know how these weapons would be deployed, or afforded, and it’s difficult to imagine Britain launching them without American permission. It’s also hard to see what use they would be against terrorists and insurgents. We resolved the troubles in Northern Ireland by talking to the terrorists, not by dropping atomic bombs on Belfast or Dublin. And their vast nuclear arsenals did not help America in Vietnam or the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. Now that Russia and America have agreed further arms limitations it’s time for a new defence review.

In or out of the EU The British Army remains under NATO command and committed to fighting American wars; the rest of the European states are almost as servile. If America is forced by economic restraints to withdraw from her imperial mission, and if Europe can find a sense of unity, we might gain some measure of independence, but for now it remains a fantasy promoted by The Daily Mail and The Sun.

 Wishful thinking

The terminally decrepit government of Gordon Brown is clinging to power in the hope that Dave Cameron and his team are struck by a meteorite at this year’s Tory Party Conference. Only an unseen catastrophe can save the Labour Party from a humiliating defeat at the next election. There is an outside chance that the Euro-sceptic “bastards” will sabotage the Tory election campaign as they did with John Major. But it’s almost certain that we will be delivered from this awful government at the next election.

It will be good to see Gordon Brown and his contemptible cronies thrown out of office. But we mustn’t expect too much of Dave Cameron. His party is stuck in the days of “Land of Hope and Glory.” Some of the Tories have tried to keep up with events but most of them have a false image of Britain clouded by sentimentality and wishful thinking.

The Tories are overwhelmingly gung-ho. Their defence spokesman Liam Fox talks about staying in Afghanistan until “the job is done.” But he doesn’t explain what the job is, or how many men we are prepared to sacrifice. We are desperately in debt to the international loan sharks but they still support this cripplingly expensive waste of British lives. They see our engagement as a continuation of imperialism. It may not be our empire we are fighting for but by bombing villages and shooting up wedding parties we are “defending democracy” and showing the world that we can “punch above our weight.”

These are the same Tories that were responsible for the 27,927 Afrikaner women and children and the 14,154 black Africans that starved to death in their concentration camps in South Africa. They even use the same nonsensical propaganda. We are told that the mujahideen plant bombs and attack patrols instead of fighting like proper soldiers. They used to say the same thing about the Afrikaners when they resisted an equally cruel and unjust occupation.

We are about to give power to a gang of nostalgic dreamers. Deep down they know that things have changed but they are happier living in a world of make-belief. This capacity for self-deception has epitomized the Tories since they launched the ill-fated Jameson Raid of 1895 that started the Boer War. They spout jingoistic propaganda with such juvenile enthusiasm that they end up believing it themselves.

British post-war foreign policy has been a chronicle of disaster. There was no point in fighting in Palestine, Kenya, Malaya, Aden and Cyprus when we were about to abandon the empire. We were ordered out of Suez by a furious America, we facilitated the Argentine invasion of the Falklands by withdrawing the protection of the Royal Navy, and we only settled the troubles in Northern Ireland because of Bill Clinton’s intervention.

Democracy

The so-called democratic system depends on our views being respected by members of parliament. Our representatives are professional politicians who are supposed to have skills of oratory and debate and the wisdom that comes from experience and education. The reality is that most of them are unprincipled charlatans who are only interested in their own careers.

Politicians promote the policies of their parties not the views of their constituents. A member of parliament for an “enriched” area must know that his white constituents are worried about the never-ending influx. But instead of asking questions about immigration most of them take the party line and pretend that all is well and that race-relations have never been better. They will probably say that immigration has been a positive benefit to society and that we couldn’t manage without them. They will tell us that we need Third World immigrants to pay taxes to support our welfare system and to have lots of children to make up for our declining birth-rate Their lying propaganda defies commonsense and shows their total contempt for our ethnicity.

Their misrepresented constituents should get rid of them at the next election but it’s not as simple as that. The established political parties have a consensus that forbids any mention of stopping, or reversing, immigration. So it’s no good voting for another party because they are just as bad. Added to this is the tribal nature of politics; the working class vote Labour, the middle class vote Tory and the “don’t knows” vote Liberal Democrat. In the end the mass of the electorate vote according to the newspapers they read and the propaganda that they ingest from radio and television.

The far-right insist that the majority of British people oppose immigration and support repatriation. But people tend to answer questions according to how they are phrased. If you ask, “do you think that we have got too many immigrants?” they will agree. But if you ask, “should we start repatriating them?” they will hesitate. The first question requires little effort but the second needs thinking about and is liable to cause offence.

In 1975 the British people were asked in a referendum, “do you think the UK should stay in the European Community?” An overwhelming 67% voted yes, probably because the major parties and most of the newspapers supported the yes campaign, Only the left wing of the Labour Party, right wing Tories and the National Front opposed the EEC. The way that the question was posed also helped; people were being asked to agree with a statement instead of having to make a decision. If there’s another referendum on the EU people are likely to go along with the current mood of Euro-scepticism promoted by Rupert Murdoch, an international newspaper and television proprietor based in the USA and committed to global capitalism and the Atlantic Alliance.

Throughout Europe there is growing opposition to immigration that most national governments are trying to ignore. Anti-immigration movements are getting good election results but the established parties remain in power because of the power of the mass media.

By controlling the media big business controls the population. They can send us to war even when there is no threat to our country. They can import millions of cheap labour workers to undercut our wages and conditions and then get us to endorse their actions by voting for them. They can devalue our currency and wipe out our pensions and savings. They can spy on us with CCTV cameras and intercept our phone calls and e-mails under the pretext of “national security.” They can do all of these things with impunity but the public will still think that putting illiterate crosses on ballot papers will make a difference,

But there is a glimmer of hope. It’s getting harder to keep people in blissful ignorance. Most people know that the war in Iraq had nothing to do with ‘weapons of mass destruction.” This was not the case in the world wars when people believed everything put out by the Ministry of Information. It’s difficult to hide the truth in the age of information technology. Royal scandals and MP’s expenses cannot be hushed up. People are better informed and should be able to form their own opinions instead of being misled by a mass media controlled by big business and dedicated to preserving the status quo.

The old duopoly of left and right is breaking down. The system is not about to collapse but the first cracks are appearing. Journalists have lost their cap-doffing respect for politicians and no longer cower under the raised eyebrows of authority. Most journalists are vague liberals with no strong opinions but they are increasingly disrespectful of career politicians and enjoy asking them embarrassing questions. This makes it harder to conceal pomposity and excuse incompetence. The unpopularity of Gordon Brown and the Labour government has more to do with TV journalism than Dave Cameron

The international capitalists couldn’t care less who forms the next government so long as they obey orders. The free market global agenda is not for discussion. Dave Cameron will be just as compliant as Gordon Brown, British troops will continue to die in Afghanistan, cheaply produced goods from China and India will still undercut British industry and Third World economic refugees will arrive with every boat and plane.

British plutocracy has survived the French Revolution, the Napoleonic Wars, the First World War, the Russian Revolution, the General Strike, the Great Depression, the rise of fascism, the Second World War and the Cold War. They are very good at surviving but eventually they must run out of luck. The next time that a cyclical wave of revolution crosses the English Channel the so-called “free traders” and exploiters must be brought to justice.

Trouble ahead

Romanian gypsies have fled Belfast after being attacked by local youths in retaliation for a crime wave. Politicians of all parties have condemned the attacks but few of them have questioned the importation of unemployable immigrants. Whoever decided that Belfast needed an infusion of itinerates could have found plenty of them nearer home. There are 25,000 tinkers in Ireland and 120.000 assorted gypsies and travellers in the UK. They are probably not related to   Romanian gypsies but they have similar lifestyles.

Our politicians are lying when they say that we are forced to accept immigrants by the EU. France and Germany imposed strict controls on Romanian and Bulgarian workers when they joined the EU. And the Italians are deporting illegal immigrants and refusing asylum seekers. We have an undisputed right to turn anyone away from our borders if we think them undesirable. We may have a shortage of dentists and engineers but we have got plenty of beggars, lucky heather sellers and fortune tellers.

Social services should be for those who have contributed; they should not be available to the work shy and feckless. We have got enough problems with our own dysfunctional underclass without scouring the Balkans for new recruits. People without employment prospects should not be accepted as immigrants.

The condition of itinerants will only be improved by education. They are capable of bettering themselves but their nomadic lifestyle and contempt for authority holds them back. According to the Sunday Express (21/06/09) Nick Griffin is descended from travellers but he has done pretty well for himself. If we survive the current recession we can help those who have fallen by the wayside. But we cannot look after the hungry and dispossessed of the world.

Successive governments have encouraged immigration without thinking about how many people we need or how many we can accommodate. We allowed almost unlimited immigration and anybody who questioned the open door policy was dismissed as a racist. Our politicians insisted on creating a multi-racial state despite repeated warnings of trouble ahead. They got away with this insanity because the economy was booming and most of the immigrants could find jobs

But now that we are in a recession it’s all going wrong. British soldiers fighting NATO’s unwinnable war in Afghanistan have monitored Yorkshire and Midlands accents on Taliban radio broadcasts. Instead of integrating into British society some immigrants are prepared to fight against us. It’s not surprising that people originating from Pakistan and Kashmir sympathise with the Afghan Resistance. But this is not the happy image of mass migration promoted by the race-relations industry. The rose-tinted spectacles of liberalism can no longer obscure the fact that the multi-racial experiment has failed.

Forming alliances

The BNP has failed to find allies in the European Parliament and will have to sit with the 27 unaligned “Non-Inscrits.” BNP leader Nick Griffin is against Polish and Lithuanian immigration and has called for Italian and Portuguese workers to be sacked from British construction sites. Having offended half of Europe he is now trying to make friends with them.

UKIP’s Nigel Farage leads the “respectable” Europe of Freedom and Democracy group. They have 32 members from 10 countries. Denmark - Dansk Folkeparti 2, Finland - True Finns 1, France - Mouvement pour la France 1, Greece – LAOS 2, Italy - Lega Nord 9, Lithuania - Order and Justice 2, Netherlands - Reformed Party 1, Slovakia - Slovak National Party 1, UK - UKIP 13.

Vlaams Belang lost one seat but still have 2. They want an independent Flanders within the European Union. “Vlaams Belang will continue to strive for a European Union that actually listens to the needs and demands of the people, for example by way of referenda.” They will not form an alliance with the BNP.

The Dansk Folkeparti has 25 seats in the Danish Parliament. Like most of the EFD parties they are fiercely pro-Zionist and anti-fascist.

The Italian Lega Nord belongs to EFD but that doesn’t stop them from supporting the Lisbon Treaty and being part of the pro-European government of the hugely popular Silvio Berlusconi.

In France the Front National lost 4 seats but still have 3. They would be suitable allies for the BNP but in order to form a pan-European group they need 25 MEPs from 7 different countries.

The Partij voor de Vrijheid in the Netherlands has 4 seats. Their leader Geert Wilders hates Islam and “fascism” but welcomes black Christians. He wants to annex Flanders and strengthen ties with Israel. He models himself on Margaret Thatcher, including the blond bouffant.

The eastern states have returned a clutch of far-right deputies that are more interested in ancient quarrels than European solidarity, The Hungarians want to carve Transylvania from Romania, the Romanians want to absorb neighbouring Moldova and the Bulgarians want to expel their Turkish-speaking minority.

Alessandra Mussolini scuttled the previous far-right group by upsetting the Romanians. The mainstream parties have all formed successful alliances but the far-right parties are essentially provincial. If they want to be taken seriously they must drop the border disputes and language rows of the last century and start thinking as Europeans.

Nation Revisited

The Occupation of Iraq

By the time that General Khalil Pasha surrendered the Turkish 6th Army to General Sir William Marshal in October 1918 Britain had lost 92,000 men in Iraq. But the killing continued for another 14 years of military occupation. In 1920 Winston Churchill the Minister for War estimated that it would take 25,000 British troops, reinforced with 80,000 Indian troops, to occupy Iraq, but by using the Royal Air Force this could be reduced to 4,000 British and 10,000 Indians. Churchill said: “I am strongly in favour of using poisoned gas against uncivilized tribes to spread a lively terror.” The RAF under Squadron Leader Arthur “Bomber” Harris, dropped 97 tonnes of bombs, including gas and delayed action, on insurgent Arab villages resulting in 9,000 deaths. When Air Commodore Lionel Charlton saw mutilated civilian survivors in an Iraqi hospital he promptly resigned, but Squadron Leader Arthur Harris justified his actions by saying:

“The only thing the Arab understands is the heavy hand.”

The 8,000 British troops currently in Iraq have had 113 killed and 2,200 wounded policing the Shiite part of the country. The 132,000 Americans have had 2,400 killed and 20,000 wounded fighting the Sunni insurgents since President George Bush made the infantile statement “bring ‘em on.” But if Iran is attacked our troops will have to engage the Mahdi Army of Shiite cleric Muqtada al Sadr who has pledged to defend his Iranian coreligionists. To occupy the country under these conditions we would need to treble our forces and be prepared for heavy losses.

In 1918-1932 there was no pretence about weapons of mass destruction or introducing democracy. We blatantly detached Iraq’s most oil-rich province and set it up as the client state of Kuwait. Britain occupied Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Iraq and South Arabia to expand the Empire and to neutralize Arab hostility to the Balfour Declaration that promised Palestine to the Jews. This situation is still much the same except that it is the American Empire that we are now defending and it is the British Army acting as colonial auxiliaries instead of the Indians.

Iran is developing nuclear weapons in response to Israel’s nuclear arsenal and to keep up with Pakistan and India. America has isolated President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and is threatening military action. But Iran is not a bankrupt and almost defenceless state, as was Iraq before the invasion, she is a nation of 68 million with vast resources. Tony Blair and Germany’s Angela Merkel are slavishly following American foreign policy but Russia and China are refusing to go along with George Bush’s threats. The  Middle East situation must be the subject of international agreement. The independence of these states should be guaranteed by the great powers working together. The days of America dictating to the world are over.

Action Francaise and the Front National

On the night of February 6th 1934 French nationalists mustered at the Place de la Concorde to demonstrate against the Stavisky affair – the death of a Russian-born swindler who conspired with Cabinet Ministers to trade hundreds of millions of francs worth of worthless bonds. The demonstrators included the Camelots du Roy, the youth wing of the fascist-monarchist movement Action Francaise, and the ex-serviceman’s movement Croix-de-feu led by decorated war veteran Colonel Francoise de la Rocque. The police defending the National Assembly opened fire on the demonstrators killing sixteen and wounding thousands, but the nationalists immobilized Paris and brought down the corrupt Cartel des Gauches government.

The principle ideologue of Action Francaise was the writer and poet Charles Maurras born 1868, a dedicated monarchist who personally despised the Bourbon-Orleans dynasty, and an agnostic who supported the Catholic Church as the guardian of French tradition and culture. He was sentenced to death in 1944 for supporting the Vichy regime and confined to prison where he survived until his death in 1952

French nationalists were deeply divided between those who supported General Charles de Gaulle and the Free French and those who rallied to Marshal Philippe Petain and L’Etat Francaise. Thousands joined the Legion des Volontaires Francais and the SS Division Charlemagne were amongst the last troops fighting for Hitler when they were wiped out at the Battle of Berlin. Thousands more were slaughtered during the “Liberation” as the Reds took their revenge. From 1947 two rival newspapers “ Aspects de la France” and “La Nation Francaise” kept alive the nationalist philosophy. In 1972 Jean Marie le Pen succeeded in uniting various factions under the umbrella of the Front National.

But Action Francaise still exists as a separate entity and campaigns for the restoration of the monarchy and a return to traditional Catholicism.

Jean Marie le Pen was born in 1928. He saw active service as a paratrooper in Vietnam and North Africa and became France’s youngest MP when he was one of 53 candidates elected for Pierre Poujade’s Union de Defense Commercants et Artisans in 1956.

In 1965 he directed the Presidential campaign of Jean-Louis Tixier Vignancourt. In the 2002 Presidential Election Le Pen came second with 4.5 million votes – 15%. The nationalist vote was split with Philippe de Villiers, candidate of the New Right who got 4.7%. The Front National controls local authorities all over France and is represented in the European Parliament.

Le Pen’s movement boasted 60,000 members before the ethnic riots but they are now overwhelmed with applications. They campaign against immigration and call for mass repatriation. They are critical of the EU but have dropped their opposition to the Euro. The Front National is in the tradition of French nationalism since the 1920s. They maintain friendly relations with the BNP and with similar movements throughout Europe. They are currently campaigning for the Presidential Elections due in 2007. As the ethnic situation continues to deteriorate they have every chance of victory.

Views on the News

Only weeks after the British National Party’s stunning success at the local elections we have Labour Party spokespersons talking about the need to control immigration and deport alien criminals. The party that promoted the multicultural nightmare has now done an about face and is posing as the guardian of Britain. Let nobody forget that it was the Labour Party who passed the 1948 Nationality Act that started the non-European invasion. It was the Labour Party behind every bit of repressive legislation designed to silence the British people whenever they tried to protest against mass immigration. It was the Labour Party who forced “black studies” on British children and who campaigned against all things British and for all things multicultural and multiracial. The Tories have been spineless and inept but it was Labour who really believed in destroying the White Race by forcibly intermixing humanity. The race traitors of the Labour Party must never be forgiven for the hideous crimes that they have committed. One day they must be brought before the Courts and charged with attempting to destroy the British nation.

We do not really know what is causing global warming but there is no doubt that weather patterns are changing all over the world. This is yet another reason for the benighted people of Africa to head towards Europe in ever increasing numbers. Failed harvests in sub-Saharan Africa have made the plight of millions even worse. Drought and famine are driving people towards water and survival. But depopulation is not the answer to Africa’s problems; boreholes can be sunk and irrigation projects can be built. Water engineering has made the desert bloom in Egypt and Israel. According to the Black Britain website 7% of UK graduates are Afro-Caribbean; instead of working in Britain they should go to Africa to construct the dams and waterways that could transform their ancestral continent. The millions spent on welfare payouts to immigrants would be better invested in African agriculture and irrigation.

The inflation rate in Zimbabwe has now reached 1000%. At the time of Ian Smith and UDI the Rhodesian dollar was on par with the US dollar. Now it takes 100,000 Zim dollars to buy 1 US dollar. Under the dictatorship of Robert Mugabe – the darling of the British establishment not long ago – the country has all but collapsed. 80% of Zimbabwe people are unemployed and living in poverty. By nationalizing the commercial farms Mugabe has destroyed 400,000 jobs and reduced the European population to 30,000. In a recent military operation the government destroyed shanties and unauthorized camps making 700,000 people homeless. In a continent known for chaos Zimbabwe is an example of how not to run a country. Mugabe has taken Marxist dogma designed for 19th Century Europe and imposed it on 21st Century Africa. The result is starvation and the lowest expectation of life in the world. But still the Bush-Blair axis of arrogance ignores the fate of Zimbabwe whilst bringing “democracy” to Iraq and Afghanistan. When Tony Blair sent British troops to help America invade Iraq in 2003 he said: “We the British are a people that stand by their friends in time of need, trial and tragedy, and we do so without hesitation now.” Does the Prime Minister know that Rhodesia contributed more personnel per capita to the imperial war effort than any other country?

Symbols

The way that multicultural regimes are cracking down on nationalists it is only a matter of time before they try to stop us from publishing anything. The Police and the Courts will use The Public Order Act and The Race Relations Act to silence any movement that dares to oppose government policy. It is difficult for them to ban parties outright and almost impossible if they have elected councilors, but they will use any pretext to close down websites or newspapers if they think that they can get away with it. This censorship has already started and nationalists have been prosecuted all over Europe. But we can still spread the word by publishing what we can and by the use of symbolism.

When the government banned cigarette advertising the tobacco companies used subterfuge to get their message across. Silk Cut used pictures of a piece of silk slashed with a knife to represent the words “Silk Cut.” Benson & Hedges used their familiar golden packet to convey the idea of their product with slogans like “solid gold.” These ads said nothing about the quality of the tobacco but still sold the product to the public.

By using symbols the nationalist movement can continue to sell their product, even if the multicultural enforcers impose a ban.

In Britain, under the Labour Party, any show of patriotism is viewed as suspect so people have come to identify national flags with the nationalist movement. We must continue to exploit and reinforce this idea by always using the Union Jack and the flag of St George. The Celtic cross is used by nationalists all over the world as the symbol of white consciousness. It decorates walls in Australia, The United States, Russia, Argentina and Europe. Some of the current leaders of the so-called far right associate symbols with the old days, but they are instantly recognizable and can say at a glance what it takes a whole leaflet to say.

If you stand on a street corner with a poster saying Keep Britain White the chances are that you will be arrested and charged. But if you stand there with a poster bearing the Celtic cross and just the name of the party, the police will have nothing to charge you with and the public will know exactly what you mean. Symbols are powerful ideograms that convey unwritten messages. The big companies use logos to identify their products. Everybody knows the Coca Cola icon even people who cannot read and write can recognize the distinctive lettering. The same goes for MacDonald’s, Heineken, Shell, Nescafe and many more global brands.

The Tories have their outstretched torch, the Labour Party has hijacked the English rose and the Liberal Democrats have a half-plucked bird. The old gang parties recognize the importance of symbols for conveying messages to the public. The fight for the survival of the White Race is worldwide and requires a symbol that is internationally recognized.

Other symbols in other times have changed history. The Christian message was carried around the world under the cross of Jesus Christ, a symbol of hope and resurrection. When future historians remember the resurrection of European civilization they may record that the symbol of hope throughout the great revolution was the Celtic cross.

Propaganda

People react to propaganda according to their opinions and attitudes, just as they do to music or comedy. Different people laugh or cry at different things. Many find attacks on religion distasteful but most nationalists take a hard line against Islam in particular.

The drive for respectability has resulted in race taking second place to religion. This development has been influenced by repressive legislation that can have writers locked up for telling the truth. But the general public would welcome an honest approach to race that simply stated that Britain is a European country with every right to remain so.

The BNP advocates a protectionist fishing policy that would restrict British waters to our own fishermen. That’s fair enough but the way they describe it is very alarming: “After a few foreign trawlers operating in set aside British waters had been sent to the bottom of the ocean by a salvo or two of Royal Navy cannon, then the message would go out to the rest of the world that we mean business.” Words reminiscent of the extremist attitude of the old days rather than the measured approach of a respectable party.

When Enoch Powell made his “Rivers of Blood” speech in 1968 the liberal establishment reacted with horror. An intellectual who spoke several Indian languages and studied philosophy and anthropology was dismissed as a “racist” for making a demographic prediction. Powell was one of the first MPs to question the mass immigration of millions of non-Europeans. Mosley, Chesterton, Fountaine, Bean, Tyndall, Jordan, Webster and others had been campaigning against the invasion for years but they were political outcasts. As an elected old gang politician Enoch Powell was one of their own. By speaking out he had defied the liberal consensus and was blackballed from the club.

Even today ordinary people who never embraced the multicultural obsession are saying that Enoch was right. Tory newspapers like The Daily Mail and The Telegraph dodge the issue and launch petty attacks on East Europeans, but they never say what most of their readers want them to say. Instead they drone on about the alleged benefits of cultural enrichment -  journalese for being overrun with Blacks and Asians. The editors of Canary Wharf are the products of private schools and prominent universities who have been insulated from the real world by generations of social apartheid. They think that it’s terribly common to say “Britain for the British,” and their editorials hinted that the recent BNP gains in East London were only to be expected from the rednecks living there.

When HMS Conqueror sank the ARA General Belgrano at the start of the 1982 Falklands conflict The Sun ran the banner headline “Gotcha” and lost all claim to be a responsible newspaper. This action was a legitimate act of war but its necessity was questioned at the time and the loss of 323 young sailors was the first indication of Margaret Thatcher’s cruel arrogance. The “ Falklands factor” temporarily boosted the Tories but their inhumanity coupled with their economic incompetence eventually destroyed them. The British people were ready to fight in two world wars but they do not glorify militarism or gloat over the slaughter of our perceived enemies. Tony Blair is discovering this at the moment as the war in Iraq spirals out of control.
