Nation Revisited # 199, May 2023

War in Ukraine

Public opinion in the UK is influenced by the mass media. They see the war in Ukraine as an unprovoked Russian invasion; but this is far from the truth. There are two sides to every story but we are only getting the NATO-approved narrative. The war is actually the result of a coup organised by the CIA that deposed the elected president and installed the current regime.

Volodymyr Zelensky is hailed in the West as a hero. In fact, he is a dictator who has locked up the opposition and made war on his Russian-speaking population. The Pandora papers leaked to the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists reveals that he has $1.4 billion in overseas accounts. This was not reported on a pro-Putin website but in the Guardian of October 2021. Now 21-year-old US airman Jack Teixeira has posted classified Pentagon documents showing that Ukraine is losing the war with a seven to one kill ratio in favour of Russia.

This war has devastated Ukraine and damaged the economies of many countries. Sanctions were supposed to hurt Russia but they have done more harm to us. Energy prices have doubled in Europe but self-sufficient Russia has switched her exports to China and India. It's not easy to wage economic war on the largest country in the world when it has almost unlimited natural resources.

Turkey tried to bring about peace talks at the start of the war but this was sabotaged by Boris Johnson who flew to Kiev with promises of arms and money. Now, China has tried to organise a ceasefire but this has been rejected by America. The Western nations are fuelling the fire by sending arms and money to Zelensky, but despite his vainglorious rhetoric, the war will eventually be settled around the conference table.

And when this unnecessary war is over the future of NATO must be considered. NATO was set up after WW2 to counter the Soviet Union. Europe was in ruins and the Red Army was camped in Berlin and Vienna. Britain, together with France, Germany and Italy relied on America for protection and even sustenance. The Marshal Plan saved us from starvation and NATO provided a defensive shield. That was over 70 years ago; today things are completely different. When the Soviet Union was disbanded in December 1991 the West should have responded by disbanding NATO; instead we expanded it into eastern Europe and used it to wage war in the Balkans.

America's hatred of Russia is driven by the Military-Industrial Complex and Cold War propaganda. The threat of Communism no longer exists; Russia is an Orthodox Christian nation with an elected government, and China is capitalist through and through. The Chinese cling to the language of the past as do the British, they have the Chinese Communist Party and we have the Order of the British Empire, and Imperial College.

There's no reason for the West to be hostile to China or Russia. If Donald Trump is re-elected in November 2024 he has promised to restore common sense to international affairs. We must pray that he is successful.

Five Questions Answered # 24 Frank P Walsh (1925-2020)

Frank Walsh was old and tired when I asked him to answer my Five Questions, instead, he gave a copy of his book 'The Justicean's Millenia'.

Who are you?

Frank Walsh was born in Lancashire in 1925 and died in London on 19th November 2020. He was a gentleman, a patriot and a scholar who fought against plutocracy to the bitter end.

Frank's father was badly wounded in the First World War, and as a result he was brought up in a children's home. He joined the Merchant Navy at the age of 14 and volunteered for the army in 1943.

He was known as the King of London's Speaker's Corner where he spoke fearlessly for many years despite a Red ban on patriotic speakers.

His Patriotic People's Power Party attempted to unite the producers, the common people, against the parasites. His unique blog was updated monthly until March 2019, it was a fascinating mixture of graphic art, prose, poetry, and economics.

What do you believe in?

To have the viable maximum fruits of our work. The freedom to say our political opinions. The right to our folk’s brooked cultural ways. The security of our folk’s ruled military against invasion.

If you could direct government policy, what would you do?

Humanity must never again allow itself to be lured to massacre millions for parasite-backed utopian philosophies, such as Socialism and Communism. Anybody with no sympathy for Communism before they are 21 must be heartless and anybody who believes in the possibility of Communism after 24 must be mindless. For they will not accept the obvious truth that humans have variable good and bad traits.

What are you proud of and what do you regret?

I hope this booklet is not utopic and to save Our Folk from extinction there are enough Folk Loyal Free Spirits left with the wits and guts, to win a Folk Fascist economic, military, cultural politic and together keep it.

How would you like to be remembered?

The (P.P.P.P.) Patriotic People’s Power Party must never be lured sheepish follow the leader “Up and down the Hill”, Baa Baa Big Boss or Low Life Levellers party, that is contrary to its aim to win High Quality Competitive made Equalisers having self-disciplinary critical minds with, Nature or God? Made, race their soul’s religion and democracy its spirit, who freely cooperate to keep their individuality needed to never accept total defeat, always phoenixlike rising to found and uphold with religious fervour, not blind fanaticism, a Folk Democratic society, able to earn their kin citizen’s respect in their elected reps proof thru the tough electoral mill, they truly practice the democratic tenets of equality, reciprocally welcoming, instead of being insular hermits, the best of the world’s folk but never their dross as guests.

Reparations - Sam Dickson

Hey! I want to know when I will get my reparations as a descendant of French Huguenots. If these blacks are entitled to millions because their ancestors were slaves 7 generations ago. I see no reason why I shouldn't be invited to the Pity Party and get my freebies too.

No one knows how we Huguenot descendants suffer.

We have to endure microaggressions all the time. I have to walk past the Basilica of Saint Mary Stella Maris several times a week when I'm at my winter home in Key West, Florida. Right there - displayed for all the world to see, without any concern for my sufferings - is a statue of the Virgin Mary which outrages my eyes.

But no one cares how I feel.

We are depressed, unable to balance our checkbooks, wash the dishes, make up our beds, brush our teeth or mow the grass. We suffer from anxiety attacks thinking we are back in Paris with our martyred ancestors in the midst of the Massacre of Saint Bartholomew's Eve. I can't sleep at night fretting over this.

All of our failures in life can be traced back to the Massacre of St Bartholomew's Eve and the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes by Louis X1V. Don't try to tell me that we should get on with our lives, man it up and get to work. Such insensitive statements will be reported to the Hate Control Department of the nearest police force.

Back in the 1680s my ancestors had to flee with nothing but the clothes on their backs, abandoning their shops, farms and gold smelting businesses...for which we have never been paid.

I figure with compound interest I am ENTITLED to many, many millions of dollars from the French taxpayers for what my Huguenot families lost back in the 1680s.

And I assure you, my mood would be greatly improved if I were given reparations in the form, say, of a 24 hour free shopping spree in the Vatican Museum with a couple of dozen grocery carts.

20 or 30 original Rembrandts would work wonders and make me feel good.

And I'll feel even better after I take home my Vatican reparations and when the subject moves on to how much cash the French taxpayers owe me.

All of you need to get to work to right these wrongs and get me what I'm entitled to.

The National Health Service

When the NHS was introduced in 1948 it covered everything connected with health, including eyes and teeth. There was an immediate scramble for spectacles and dentures, but when the Korean War broke out the government decided to privatise optical and dental services to save money.

Right from the start the NHS had a problem finding doctors and nurses. Enoch Powell, who later made his infamous ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech warning of the dangers of immigration, tried to address the problem when he was Minister of Health by recruiting nurses from the West Indies. And prime minister Ted Heath welcomed Indian doctors, dentists, opticians, and pharmacists fleeing from oppression in East Africa.

In recent years we employed a steady stream of medical professionals from Europe but that has been ended by Brexit. So now we have a desperate skilled labour shortage compounded by 12 years of austerity resulting in shortages of hospital beds and equipment.

Prime minister Tony Blair accepted the offers made by international construction companies to build hospitals for next to nothing in return for extended maintenance contracts. This got new hospitals built but we will still be paying for them for generations.

All political parties insist that they want to keep the NHS free at the point of delivery, but parts of it are being subcontracted to private companies. Medical agencies are supplying doctors and nurses; blood tests, scans, and aftercare, and many surgical procedures are being undertaken by private hospitals. This is in addition to building maintenance, computer and equipment hiring, ambulances, laundry, cleaning, and legal services. The fact is that the NHS is already partly privatised.

We all know that you get what you pay for. If we want an up-to-date NHS, we must be prepared to pay for it with higher taxes. The alternative is to have an American-style system based on private insurance. That's fine if you can afford it, but I believe that a civilized country should provide health care for all, including the poor.

Statistics do not always lie. Those countries that invest in health care enjoy longer and healthier lives than those that allow the poor to perish. The expectation of life in prosperous Switzerland is 84.25 years, and in the desperately poor Central African Republic it's 52.16 years.

Mosley and the Zinoviev Letter - Terence Pitcher

The last US presidential election is disputed, and the UK has introduced voter identity checks. But electoral interference is not new; the Zinoviev Letter was a forgery published by the Daily Mail that purported to be from Grigory Zinoviev (pictured), head of the Comintern, to the Communist Party of Great Britain, urging them to work for a Labour victory.

From 'Comrade' March/April 1999

The recent release of Government papers has revealed that the famous Zinoviev Letter was an MI5 fraud.

For most of this century MI5 has been indulging in 'Reds under the Bed' scares in order to discredit the Labour Government - except in the 1930-40s when it transferred its attention to Mosley's British Union, sharing much responsibility for the incarceration of patriotic and loyal British men and women in prisons and concentration camps.

Yet MI5 itself has produced more traitors and defectors than any other institution in Britain.

The Zinoviev scare during the 1924 General Election had a far greater significance than the defeat of an already doomed Labour Government. For one Labour candidate it had life-long implications.

At Ladywood, Birmingham, Neville Chamberlain, the doyen of the Tory Party, faced a challenge from Oswald Mosley, the idol of Labour's radicals. It was well known that he advocated government take over of the banks and finance houses; a policy that was anathema to the forces of international finance. Had Mosley  won against the national trend of Labour defeat, his political prestige would have risen to paramount heights. The men of caution who surrounded Labour's leaders Ramsay MacDonald and Snowdon would have found it impossible after that to stop his progress in the party.

On election night Mosley took Chamberlain to four counts. First it was 20 in Chamberlain's favour, then 7 and the third Mosley in by 2. The final count was Chamberlain in by 27.

The Zinoviev factor was just sufficient to to give Chamberlain victory in the seat he had previously held with a majority of 3,000.

So the crucial question that Mosley asked - whether Britain should be ruled by the Money Power or an elected government was never put to the people.

Without the Zinoviev Letter forgery by MI5 agents, the course of Mosley's career and British history might have been a completely different story.

Nation Revisited # 198 April 2023

Distraction

Thieves are robbing people at cashpoints by distracting them, and Rishi Sunak is using the same tactic to take the public's mind off roaring inflation, industrial unrest, uncontrolled immigration and half empty supermarket shelves.

Last year 500,000 legal immigrants arrived in the UK on scheduled airlines, but all we heard about was 45,000 illegal immigrants who crossed the Channel in inflatable dinghies.

Many of these boat people are Albanians. According to the Daily Mail all Albanians are criminals. One who is not a criminal is Anthony Albanese the Australian prime minister. He is of Italian descent but the name Albanese indicates an Albanian origin.

It's convenient for the Daily Mail that Albanians are Europeans, and therefore fair game for a fanatical Faragist rag. In fact, the UK has an agreement with the Albanian authorities to return unwanted immigrants, but we have no such agreement with African and Asian nations.

Of the legal entrants, over 100,000 are refugees from Ukraine. The Daily Mail dare not demonise them because they are fleeing from "Putin's illegal invasion". It's ironic that the Brexiteers won their referendum with a hate campaign against the Poles, and an entirely imaginary threat from Turkey, but they now obliged to welcome Ukrainians.

For once the Daily Mail has got it right: we should welcome the Ukrainians as fellow Europeans.

So as not to appear to be racists, the Tories have put brown-skinned people in charge of immigration. Rishi Sunak and Suella Braverman were born in the UK but their parents were immigrants, and they are naturally sympathetic to their kinfolk.

When Boris Johnson (pictured) went to India seeking a trade deal, the Modi government made no secret of the fact that they wanted access to the UK for their citizens in return for such a deal. It's a well known principle that people follow goods across borders.

We have got an open door policy for Indians and Hong Kong Chinese but it suits the Tories to make a big issue out of the boat people. They are a distraction.

Eco-Trickery

We are told that the two nuclear power stations being built by the French company EDF in Somerset, in the west of England, and Suffolk, in the east, will provide clean energy for a generation. These huge structures are made of steel and concrete and connected to the grid by copper cables, all of which emit carbon during manufacture.  All workers and materials are brought to site by air-polluting motor vehicles and erected by craftsmen using diesel-powered fork lifts, cranes, hoists, pumps, and compressors. Nuclear power stations might be eco-friendly in operation but they are major sources of pollution during construction, and eventually during decommissioning and demolition.

The same constraints apply to wind turbines and solar panels that are made of steel and glass, connected by copper cables and erected by machinery.

The energy producers conceal the true cost of these projects. The nuclear plants are expected to cost about £30 billion each, but this does not include land purchase, bank charges, insurance, legal fees, inspection, and safe storage of spent fuel. And when things go wrong; as they did at Windscale, Three Mile Island, Chernobyl and Fukushima, the cost in lives and treasure is incalculable.

Polluting the atmosphere is a bad idea, but the UK is no longer a major industrial power and our carbon emissions are negligible compared with countries like China and India. We should use our reserves of fossil fuels to generate power and reduce any damage to the environment by scrubbing chimney gases and planting trees.

It would be even better if we could find a way of removing carbon when generating electricity, but 'carbon capture' is not a commercial proposition. Politicians and journalists might talk about it but it has never been done.

International treaties such as the Climate Change Agreement and the Refugee Convention are not cast in stone. As circumstances change they must be revised. A greener future is desirable but our pensioners and underpaid workers simply can't afford it.

Transgender Issues - Mark Webb

There's an increasing trend both here and in the US, it's been going on for a while, but it's becoming very widespread and the cases increasingly disturbing.

Men in male prisons are claiming to be transgender and being sent to women's prisons where they then rape the female prisoners.

Recently one male prisoner, called Adam Graham, in Scotland claimed to be a trans woman called Isla Brown and was transferred from a male prison to a female one. He then raped two female inmates. During his/her trial Graham claimed to be a victim of hormones and a victim in general. He was given 8 years in a male prison. Just one of a recorded 167 male transgender prison rapes of females in the UK.

Such insane situations are coming about because of the outcome of Woke and SJW culture. Gender rights has become a very real social nightmare of male and female shared public toilets, drag queens teaching children about gender in primary schools and social workers with a cultural Marxist agenda pushing children into wanting gender reassignment.

Liberal courts are making a mockery of justice. Look at the LA case of Hannah Tubbs (a man of 17) who, after molesting a 10 year old girl, claimed to be a transgender teenager and was sentenced to incarceration in a unit for juvenile girls. As a social offender he then had sexual relations, both willing and unwilling, with the teenage residents. How can the State lock up a paedophile with children? Talk about putting the fox in the hen house.

The legal precedents have been put in place and the male criminals; rapists, child molesters etc, are having a great time. They are exercising their 'rights', claiming that their 'gender identity' is female, and she/her is their preference.

What about the safety of the female prisoners? Let's look at a recent case this year in the UK. A 56 year old male serial sex offender called Stephen Terence Wood claimed to be transgender and was moved to a female prison. He had a long history of sexual violence towards children and females, but he was known as Karen White, his/her new transgender identity.  So 'Karen' was moved from a male prison to HMP New Hall, an all female prison. Karen, a six foot, 20 stone male with a face like a bulldog and the body of a weight lifter, started a reign of terror and sexually assaulted at least two female inmates. Karen went back to court and was given life in a male only prison.

It's just psychopaths working the system.

Sam Dickson's email to Rabbi Mayer Schiller

Rabbi:

"Primary loyalty to one's own people, belief in gender differences and natural law governing the sexual realm was the norm among all peoples until a few decades back. So, what of it?"

Exactly! Not only WAS the norm but must ALWAYS be the norm.

It strikes me that of all the many wars bellicose America has fought, the one that is universally condemned is the one that did the most good for us, the Mexican War.

The good wars are those in which huge numbers of White men died for some purported moral purpose...to free the nonwhite slaves, to end war, to make the world safe for democracy, for all the 4 Freedoms and so on.

The Spartans that died at Thermopylae fought for Sparta. They fought for their own flesh and blood...for the guys fighting next to them, for their wives, children and siblings back home.

It was left much later to the morality crunchers to fabricate high-blown moral issues for Leonidas and his men.

Anglo-Saxons, more than any other nationality, are unable to speak their name. When I have travelled through Britain, I have read inscriptions along the line "They died for our freedom" or "They fought for our freedom."

I don't think I have ever seen a monument in England, or in the US for that matter, putting it bluntly, "They died for England" or "They died for the race of Anglo-Saxons" or even "They died for America."

All such inscriptions seemingly must "honor" the soldiers by investing them with some moral humbug and censoring out any idea that they fought for their people.

The French at least have a modicum of sense left. In France it is common to see inscriptions on monuments reading "Pour la Patrie", although I suspect the morality-mania probably rules supreme there too.

It might be instructive for someone to write a novel about the invasion of Earth by extraterrestrial creatures in which the central theme becomes the effort to find some moral reason why earthlings should fight for Earth.

Sam.

Five Questions Answered # 23 Mike Whitby

This is an abridged version of Mike Whitby's reply which was far too long for this blog. If you want to read the original please email me at nationrevisited@gmail.com

Who Are You?

My name is Mike Whitby. I was born in the 1950s and raised in the staunchly working class docklands area of Liverpool. I was the youngest of a large family with lots of cousins all within a half mile radius. I played for the school and parish football teams and continued playing amateur football until my thirties.  When I left school I became an apprentice engineer and worked on building sites and oil refineries. After which, I joined my brother in his haulage business. I got to see lots of areas of Britain that I'd only heard about and I quickly realised that we live in a beautiful country, but few people appreciate what we've got and how easily it's being stolen from us.

What do you believe in?

I believe in God, my family, my people, and myself. I was raised as a Catholic but now consider myself a non-denominational Christian, neither Catholic nor Church of England. I'm a historian and an avid reader of British history, most of which has been hidden from the masses through the state brainwashing system known as 'education'. School kids have no chance of learning the truth unless they educate themselves. We are told that our ancestors were invaders, when in fact, most English blood has remained virtually unchanged for at least twelve thousand years! How can the English be invaders when our bloodline has existed in these isles for twelve thousand years?

If you could direct government policy, what would you do?

If I had to choose which government policy I would do, I would go for education; to teach the upcoming generation about our distinct and deeply ingrained culture, and how we can preserve our homeland, our people, and our nation. A major part of that education would involve Constitutional and Common Law, which has almost been destroyed over the past century. Common Law is the bedrock of our ancient democracy which has been stolen from us through miseducation and amnesia.

What are you proud of and what do you regret?

I am very proud of my family, my extended family, and my fellow bloodline Britons. I am proud that I have always believed that we can save our people and our nation. I don't think it's productive to ponder too long on what we haven't done. The good Lord has led us to this point and it's up to us to step up to the plate and stop waiting for the next British 'Messiah'. We need to do our bit and build a force to be reckoned with. That's when a new Messiah will be sought, but for now, we've got a great deal of work to do.

How would you like to be remembered?

I would like to be remembered as a family man, a trusted friend, and a man of honour who could be relied upon to do what he said he would do, without flinching and making excuses. As part of The British Voice I have helped to establish a movement known as The Sovereign Indigenous Britons, and when this develops it will empower our people to  take our rightful place in these isles and use the law of the land to reclaim that which has been stolen from us.

Nation Revisited # 197 March 2023

Bad Language

Vic Sarson wrote an article for European Outlook # 72 entitled 'Language and Thinking'. His key point was:

If peoples' thinking is determined by language, and if language is corrupted and debased, confusing their understanding of anything and everything, then it's easy to control what they think, especially when 'political correctness' is applied.

This view has been endorsed by many writers over the years including Ezra Pound (pictured) the award-winning poet, linguist, and economist who broadcasted for Fascist Italy during the war and was confined to a mental hospital for 13 years by a vengeful America. Pound's most controversial and allegedly anti-Semitic poem is Canto XLV, which is about 'Usura', the usurer, the destroyer of everything noble and beautiful. It never mentioned the Jews but they still took offence.

Legal documents such as wills and contracts are written in precise language. We don't use such language in everyday speech but devious politicians and journalists take advantage of this to twist words to their own advantage. They have hijacked certain words and phrases to excuse criminals and demonize their critics. According to these twisters, if you prefer the company of your own people you are a 'racist', if you value the traditional family you are 'homophobic', if you criticise parliamentary democracy you are a 'fascist', if you question economic policy you are part of the 'anti-growth coalition', and if you condemn the Israeli occupation of Palestine you are 'anti-Semitic'. But tax evaders are now ''tax avoiders' and crooks are 'entrepreneurs'.

It's bad enough to be insulted without running the risk of prosecution. The fanatics of the race relations industry, including the police and the guardians of social media, will pounce on dissidents who say anything that could be considered 'racists', but they can't touch us if we choose our words carefully. We shouldn't have to submit to this kind of censorship but in today's climate of 'political correctness' it's important that we say what we mean and we mean what we say.

The State is using anti-terrorist legislation to silence opposition, just as they did in 1940 when they used Defence Regulation 18B to detain peace campaigners without charge or trial. This Act was passed to counter the IRA but it was used against Britons who posed no threat to security.

Kris O'Donnellan

I have been in touch with Kris O'Donnellan for almost 20 years. We were both early Facebook fans who shared a passion for communication. Many people are suspicious of Facebook but it's what you make it. Kris is a long-standing European Nationalist from California with a clear understanding of world politics. He posted the following statement in October 2022:

Enemies on The Left and Right alike Neocons/'Conservative' apologists for bankers and the transnational corporations on one side and nutty, vicious, woke leftists who hate everything normal and traditional or Western/European. The disgusting scribblers of Silicon Valley and in Hollywood orchestrate and celebrate this 'transformation' of Somwheres into Nowheres. The main enemies of average Americans have always been domestic and not in Moscow, Beijing or Tehran. Know your social, and class/economic enemies.

The following dialogue is from November 2022.

Kris O'Donnellan. What do you think of Red Toryism and Blue Labour? While these are marginal currently in terms of influence do you think these might gain traction as conditions for average people deteriorate and wokeness gets crazier?

Bill Baillie. I dont know what to think. I am an old fashioned fascist who believes in God, King and Country. I detest both left and right. I only hope that they will destroy each other.

Kris O'Donnellan. I have been involved in Nationalism' since age 14 here in the US, so for about 40 years now. I was never much of a 'conservative' and indeed attracted initially to the far left though their anti-white, anti-western position and hostility to the white working class repelled me.

I followed the Nationalist scene in Britain for decades starting with Tyndall's Spearhead, which believe it or not, University of Los Angeles, California library had a subscription to in the 80s. I was also interested in the Political Soldier Wing of the National Front (Holland, Harrington, Griffin) and read their publications like NF News and Nationalism Today.

I always found Mosley, the BUF, and post-war Union Movement very interesting and appealing. Had I lived in the Britain of the 1930s would definitely have been a Blackshirt.

I have always been pan-European in outlook rather than petty nationalist so the ideas of Yockey, Thiriart and Mosley were very appealing from the time I discovered them in the 80s and still to this day.

 Another Fine Mess

When Laurel and Hardy got into trouble it was always described as "Another Fine Mess." The UK is in just such a mess but it's no laughing matter. Nearly all our public service workers; doctors, nurses, firefighters, railwaymen, bus drivers, teachers, lecturers, and postmen are on strike for more pay. Our economy is shrinking, we have a desperate skilled labour shortage, inflation is running at 10%, immigration is out of control, the housing crisis is getting worse, the Northern Ireland Protocol has just been renegotiated, and people have lost confidence in our overpaid and incompetent politicians.

Kier Starmer the moderate leader of the Labour Party expects to take over at the next general election but he can hardly be looking forward to it. Britain's long standing problems are the result of years of laisez faire government and poor decision making. They will not be put right quickly.

The recent turnover of Cabinet Ministers has added to the chaos. They are not in office long enough to get used to the job before they are sacked or reshuffled. The only good thing is their colourful private lives that are a constant source of amusement, and their dodgy financial dealings that keep the fraud squad busy.

Britain has gone through some terrible times. We survived the First World War, the Great Depression, The Second World War, the collapse of the British Empire and the transformation of our United Kingdom into a disunited dependency of the United States. But the stresses and strains of this brutal upheaval have left us broken and battered.

Whoever takes over at the next general election will need to balance the budget and make a determined effort to reduce our National Debt. There are no short cuts. Taxes will have to rise and public spending will have to fall. We will also have to negotiate a sensible trade deal with Europe instead of waving flags and spouting nationalist slogans.

Economic theories are good subjects for student debating societies but we live in the real world where we have to follow the rules of the game. We have to start paying off our £2.4 trillion National Debt in order to maintain Market confidence and sell the government bonds that keep us afloat. When we achieve national solvency we can think about social credit, or syndicalism, but until then we will have to work hard, keep out of foreign wars, and stop wasting money by pretending to be a great world power.

The billions of pounds of taxpayers' money that we are giving to the Zelensky regime in Ukraine would help to pay the nurses, and so would the billions we give away in foreign aid. All nations are corrupt to some extent but Ukraine, according to Ernst & Young, is the third most corrupt nation in the world after Colombia and Brazil.

History Repeats Itself

A few years ago my friend Brenda died. Her estate was eventually sorted out but at one time it looked like I would have to pay for her funeral. When a young man asked me why I should pay the bill, I told him that it was my duty to do so, but he didn't understand the concept of duty.

It's hardly surprising that the younger generation are so ignorant. The latest census revealed that Christianity is now a minority religion in England and Wales. Another anchor has gone. We have lost our Queen and it remains to be seen if her son Charles can maintain the ancient tradition of monarchy. As more and more immigrants arrive from all over the world we are losing our sense of identity, but instead of protesting our useless politicians are falling over themselves to 'celebrate diversity'.

When I was a kid most men had served in the armed forces and everyone was used to discipline. The British Empire was rapidly collapsing but we were still a major industrial power. People in those days understood 'duty' and few questioned our institutions. We respected our elders, our teachers, the police and authority in general. Unfortunately, those days are gone. Today, we have largely forgotten our traditions and embraced liberal capitalism; a sad and selfish mixture of greed and envy.

Our national culture evolved over centuries. God, King and Country may be old-fashioned concepts but they served us well. I doubt that we will be any happier for abandoning them.

But history repeats itself. Just over a hundred years ago the Bolsheviks killed Tsar Nicholas (pictured) and his family. They confiscated the wealth of the country and attempted to wipe out the Russian Orthodox Church. They installed a dictatorship that was supposed to meet all the needs of the people, but just like the French Revolution, the Russian experiment turned into a bloody nightmare. At present the Russians are engaged in a fratricidal war with their Ukrainian cousins, but this unnecessary conflict will eventually be resolved.

Russia's elected leader, Vladimir Putin, who is very close to the Russian Orthodox Church, has apologised for the murder of the Romanovs. The trappings of the Russian Empire have been reinstated; the Red Flag has been replaced by the red, white, and blue tricolour, the national anthem has been re-written, the imperial eagle has supplanted the hammer and sickle and it's even possible that the monarchy might be restored at some time in the future.

With God's help we will follow in Russia's footsteps and return to our roots. I don't regret the passing of some of our traditions, and I know that change must happen, but we have lost so many of our signposts that we no longer know where we are or where we are going.

John Beattie was born in 1942 in Toronto. In the mid-sixties he established the Canadian National Socialist Party which resulted in him being assaulted by 'antifascists' and imprisoned by the Canadian authorities. He studied law at Toronto University and qualified as a paralegal. In 2014 he stood as deputy reeve (chief executive) for Minden Hills. He said at the time:

"A person with my strong views for our race globally, especially those of British stock, why would I be pinning down to a little village? First off, this village is still Anglo-Saxon. Hidden away in cottage country, Ontario, Canada - 98% white, whiter than the driven snow.

I don't see any non-whites. I don't cater to the couple of Asian-descended stores so I don't see a non-white all winter. In the eight weeks of summer season, yes, you get the flood from the city of non-whites or whatever.

There is a big difference between being proud of your white British-Canadian heritage and being a Nazi."

He now concentrates on his Dinosaur News website and his You Tube channel.

Nation Revisited # 196 February 2023

 Hope For The Future

At a recent gathering of old comrades I noted the various opinions around the table. We were all former members or supporters of Oswald Mosley's post-war Union Movement, but there was no 'party line' on the issues of the day.

We were equally divided over the Ukraine conflict. Some of us thought that Russia had been provoked by NATO's eastern expansion, but others supported the Ukrainians; probably because some of them "fought for the Fuhrer" in WW2.

We were also split on the next general election. Some of us dreaded the prospect of a Labour government but others, including me, thought that anything would be better than a Tory regime steeped in bribery and corruption.

Everyone regretted the changes that came about in the sixties; mass migration from the Commonwealth, the rise of crime, drug taking, sexual promiscuity, lack of respect for one's elders, and so on. I generally agreed with them but I suggested that some good things happened in the sixties when the working class started to buy houses, televisions and cars and take foreign holidays. As prime minister Harold Macmillan said at the time: "They never had it so good".

I floated the idea that the Ukraine conflict might be a cunning plan to force Europe to buy American gas. But my idea was dismissed on the grounds that: "America and Germany are on our side".

It's only to be expected that a group of old codgers would have conservative opinions. As we grow older most of us lose our capacity for wine, women, song, and revolutionary politics, but our love of Race and Nation never dies.

Our long campaign to build a better Britain has fallen on deaf ears but our dire economic situation together with political developments in Hungary, France, and Sweden, and the appointment of Georgia Meloni (pictured) as prime minister of Italy gives us hope for the future. The tide is turning.

John Bean's Letters to The Telegraph

Shannon Barnes, John Bean and Carl Harley.

The Daily Telegraph and the Sunday Telegraph are famous for their letters to the Editor from disgruntled Tories, but sometimes they let an old fascist have his say.

Sunday Telegraph 27-02-1994 - When the indigenous working folk are continually told that to oppose immigration must mean that they also support Nazi extermination methods - when they know very well they do not - they eventually say "What the hell" and vote for the extremists, some of whom may be Nazi sympathisers. This happened in last year's by-election in the Isle of Dogs, east London. JE Bean Newmarket, Suffolk

Daily Telegraph 23-02-1999 - The politicians who created the multi-racial society can ignore at their peril the report from the Commission for Racial Equality which stated that more than 230,000 white people said that they had been the victims of a racial offence, compared with 101,000 Asians and 42,000 black people, JE Bean Newmarket, Suffolk

Sunday Telegraph 10-10-1999 - Dr Steve Jones may be an authoritative geneticist, but he seems to ignore mathematics ("One in five Britons has black genes", October 3) If, as he contends, black people were marrying into white families in Britain 400 years ago, then after 15 generations the African genes in any descendant would be 0.0015 per cent, assuming that all descendants only mated with white Britons. Even after only seven generations, ie, from the late 18th century, the 'black' genes would still be only about 0.4 per cent.

Therefore, for Dr Jones to state that "it is inevitable that black and white Britons have the same genes" is a nonsense.

Where is his evidence that there were 15,000 black people living in London by the 18th century? The first national census was not held until 1841. It came about because local censuses before that were notoriously inaccurate.

If there were as many black people in London 200 and 300 years ago, surely observers of the London scene would have commented upon it. Samuel Pepys makes no reference to it for the 17th century. Although Samuel Johnson's manservant was a black man (and was left a fortune by his master), few other references are made by Dr Johnson for the 18th century. For the 19th century that keen observer of London life Charles Dickens refers only to a few "blackamoors" who were servants to the gentry.

I suspect that Dr Jones has been taken in by Trevor Phillips, the socialist would be mayor of London, and his attempt, in his television series Britain's Slave Trade to try to show that Britain was a multi-racial society before the arrival of the Empire Windrush in 1948. JE Bean Newmarket, Suffolk

Daily Telegraph 30-10-2004 -  The discovery of the "Hobbit" skeletons east of Java (report, Oct 28) could raise a question mark over the current belief that all human evolution stems from "Lucy", the Homo Habilis fossil found in East Africa.

In 1966, the anthropologist Prof Carleton S Coon, in his work Origin of Races, postulated the theory that humans evolved in five different locations, one of them being Java. For some reason, his theory became unfashionable. Yet "Java Man", discovered in 1891 was, like the "Hobbit", classified as an example of Homo Erectus.

As this variant of mankind evolved more than a million years ago, how did it travel from Africa to Indonesia without recourse to any land bridges? JE Bean Newmarket, Suffolk

Fascism Defined

The election of Georgia Meloni as prime minister of Italy has revived worldwide interest in fascism. But what exactly is fascism? Neil Nugent offered his conclusion in 'British Fascism' edited by Kenneth Lunn and Richard Thurlow, published by Croom Helm 1980.

"As we have seen there are innumerable problems in attempting to define fascism. However, unless words and concepts are to lose all meaning, an attempt must be made to define terms and toward that end a working model of fascism was suggested. From there we proceed to examine the ideological nature of the extreme right in Britain since the war with a view to establishing whether sections of it may legitimately be regarded as being in the fascist tradition.

The conclusions may be summarised as follows: In the first period the two main organisations - the LEL (League of Empire Loyalists) and the UM (Union Movement), especially the latter - did indeed display fascist characteristics. Overall however it is hardly legitimate to view them as pure fascists. In the case of the LEL, the whole manner and style smacked of reactionism, overlain with anti-Semitism, rather than fascism. With the UM, many policies and ideas were consciously designed to distance it from fascism, with particular emphasis being given to commitment to basic democratic principles. The movement can thus only be regarded as fascist if its public persona is to be seen as a complete pose, a guise to be discarded at the first opportune moment. Many of its opponents did of course take precisely this view.

Between 1958 and 1967 the situation is much clearer. Authoritarianism became explicit and the participants themselves frequently displayed their fascist and Nazi sympathies in a quite open manner.

With the National Front too there is much in its ideology that is strikingly similar to fascism as defined. Furthermore, much of it clearly draws directly on ideas, sentiments and prejudices expressed both before and after the war by self-confessed British fascist movements. There has naturally been an adaptation to circumstances, notably with regard to the presence, since the late 1950s, of a large black population, and some elements receive a different emphasis than they did from forerunners. On the whole however the essential of fascist ideology are all present. The only reservation concerns the extent of the party's authoritarianism and it is because there are doubts in this area that neo-fascist may be the most appropriate description."

'British Fascism' doesn't cover the rise and fall of the contemporary British National Party, but Neil Nugent's description of the NF fits all subsequent parties of the far-right. UM was the only patriotic movement with a post-imperial worldview. The others clung to policies that make no sense since the collapse of the British Empire. The present crisis shows that Britain cannot go-it-alone. Talk of 'sovereignty' is meaningless when we can do nothing about the price of gas and other essential commodities.

Union Movement has been gone for over 40 years but its policy is still the only answer.

Five Questions Answered # 21 Gary Raikes

The Five Questions are: Who are you? What do you believe in? If you could direct government policy, what would you do? What are you proud of and what do you regret? How would you like to be remembered. So far 21 replies have been received from across the patriotic spectrum. Send your answers to: nationrevisited@gmail.com

Who are you?

My name is Gary Raikes, I was born in Bristol way back in 1958 growing up in a family of nine.

What do you believe in?

I believe in good old family values and treating people how you would like them to treat you. I am a British Mosleyite Fascist.

If you could direct government policy, what would you do?

If I was directing Government I would introduce the Corporate State, stop all immigration and begin mass deportation of all illegal immigrants. Rebuild the armed forces, re-educate Judges, bring back hanging and roll back all the PC rubbish inflicted on us by decades of liberalism.

What are you proud of and what do you regret?

I am proud of my daughter above all else. Also the fact that I have remained true to my political beliefs since leaving school at 15 and of course all the officers and members of the New British Union.

I bitterly regret the collapse of the BNP just when we were on the very edge of real success.

How would you like to be remembered?

I'm not really concerned with how I will be remembered, maybe as a good dad and someone who stood up to be counted.

Nation Revisited: The NBU is not the first openly fascist party since the war. The following extract is from 'Violent London' by Clive Bloom:

"Soon after their activities in Notting Hill in 1958, racist elements targeted Brixton as a likely site for aggressive action, especially at election time. For the 1962 local council elections, the National Union of Fascists (NUF), a breakaway group of Union Movement, put up a candidate from Clapham Road, Keith Goodall, a founder of the NUF, polled enough to come last. This was hardly surprising as his supporters dressed in full Blackshirt uniform, and at least one, Alan Whereat, had been arrested and charged with wearing a political uniform. After his appearance in court, where the case was dropped, he gave a Nazi salute and his supporters pinned a Union badge onto the black shirt he had worn for the hearing!"

Reply to Robbie the Robot's Comment

John Tyndall and Roland Kerr-Ritchie in 1962.

Why do I think that John Tyndall would probably have been convicted of inciting racial hatred, if he had stood trial, when Nick Griffin and Mark Collett were acquitted on appeal?  Check out his invective against the Jews' (page 13) in 'The Authoritarian State':

"The Jew knows that only within a state governed according to his self-proclaimed theories of Liberalism and "Freedom" will he be permitted to continue, unhampered, the activities by which he has corrupted every nation that has opened its doors to him. When he unceasingly propagates, through his vast media of propaganda the doctrines of "Democracy" and the "Rights of Man" he has little desire to extend those rights to the ordinary nationals of the state in which he lives. What he really wants are "rights" for himself to lie and deceive those nationals while he grows fat on the results of their ignorance.

When he finally establishes his Communist state, as he has done in Russia and a great part of the East, he will discard immediately all the "freedoms" he so ardently advocates here today. Because then he will be complete master and can only stand to lose by any extension of freedom to the people he dominates.

As he testifies only too clearly in his PROTOCOLS OF THE ELDERS OF ZION, the document in which is contained his blueprint for world power:

"Political freedom is an idea but not a fact. This idea one must know how to apply whenever it appears necessary to use it as a bait to attract the masters of people to one's party for the purpose of crushing another who is in authority. This task is rendered easier if the opponent has himself been infected with the idea of "freedom", so-called Liberalism, and for the sake of an idea, is willing to yield some of his power."

Under his Communist system the Jew carries the principles of totalitarian dictatorship to the very extreme, treating like so many inhuman cattle the subjects under his command. Once firmly ensconced in power, he laughs at the slogans with which he bemused them on his way there. His police-state exceeds in tyranny and brutality all the so-called "police- states" of the Gentiles which he has attacked in the past."

John Tyndall's relentless anti-Semitism would surely have been enough to put him behind bars if he had not taken his case to a higher court.
