Nation Revisited # 175 May 2021

Public Opinion

When the American Civil War ended in 1865 very few people really believed in racial equality. Slavery was abolished but it was another 144 years before President Barack Obama took the oath of office. Once slavery was abolished it was inevitable that the Blacks would expect everything available to free men and women. And it was also inevitable that some Whites  would resent emancipation and try to keep things as they were.

Public Opinion comes from several sources. Left-wing teachers and lecturers undoubtedly influence young minds towards liberalism, but right-wing newspapers and broadcasters act in the opposite direction, and some people actually work things out for themselves.

An article by 'Tarka' in the magazine 'Candour' blames Cultural Marxism for almost everything: "Cultural Marxism has foisted upon us multiculturalism, multi-racialism, miscegenation, single parents, cohabitation, abortion, homosexuality, wards of the state (those who can't survive without state benefits) and drug/alcohol dependency which have all increased massively in the last thirty years. Eroding our culture and tradition and weakening our indigenous folk."

That's a powerful indictment but do we really want to return to the days of racial bigotry, shotgun weddings, unwanted pregnancies, gay-bashing, and workhouses?

Public Opinion has moved on. If 'Tarka' is a young man he might change his mind as he grows older, but he is probably an old man, like me, who is set in his ways.

In 1962, as a young Empire Loyalist with a head full of jingoism, I shouted abuse at prime minister Harold Macmillan as he addressed the Tory Party Conference at Llandudno. I was angry with him for making his famous 'Wind of Change' speech in Capetown. But he was only stating the obvious; that the days of Empire were over and that Africa would be decolonised.

Today, nobody would advocate a British invasion of Africa to restore colonial rule. We have come to accept that we are a European country and no longer a great world power. It seems that Harold Macmillan was right and I was wrong.

There is always a gap between changed circumstances and their acceptance. Britain ceased to be a world power in 1956 when our armed forces were ordered out of Egypt by America. Prime minister Anthony Eden was still living in the days of Empire when we could do as we liked. But the Second World War had changed everything. The reality in 1956 was that the Soviet Union and the United States had overtaken the British Empire. Now, 65 years after the Suez fiasco we have another Tory prime minister who is living in the past and threatening Russia and China.

We can uphold civilization and build a fair society without adopting the worst aspects of liberalism, such as self hatred and inverted racism. But we must recognise that drug taking and alcoholism are illnesses that must be treated, and that homosexuality is part of human nature. Public Opinion is slow to change and often reactionary but once reforms are adopted they are usually supported.

'Tarka' and Sam Dickson have every right to attack Liberalism but we mustn't go too far in the other direction. We need to balance freedom with responsibility.

Sam Dickson on Liberalism

As Madame Roland said, "The Revolution is Eating its Children."

It's truly intriguing how liberals and liberalism quickly, effortlessly and with little notice are morphing into blood-thirsty, unhinged Bolshevik fanatics and ideological crankiness.

Almost everything they claimed they stood for back in the 60s when we were teenagers and first heard their alleged beliefs from biased teachers and history books has been jettisoned.

*They now love American imperialism.
*They want to make war not peace.
*They never see a war they don't like.
*They embrace the military industrial complex.
*They eagerly approve big business censoring public debate and turning the entire country into a company town.
*They are opposed to open civic debate.
*They like censorship.
*They approve of prosecutors railroading defendants into jail.
*They disfavor the rights of the accused beyond any critique the so-called "right" made against the Warren Court.
*They support government snooping and surveillance.
*The want whistleblowers (Snowden, Chelsea Manning, Assange) jailed.
*They have chilled towards the Bill of Rights and regard it as an anachronistic impediment to their doing good.
*They embrace a narrow nationalism, stir up hysteria against foreign countries and support blocking the flow of information across boundaries. (They've already labelled Russia Today as a foreign lobby group. How long before the Soviet style jamming begins?
*They seek to supress freedom of speech by claiming that using a word like "fight" makes you civilly and criminally liable.
*They smear people with a broad brush by "linking" them, use laughable and absurd forms of guilt by association such as geographic guilt by association, audience guilt by association and even quotation guilt by association that is a parody of their parody of Senator McCarthy.
*They set up congressional committees that hold hearings to discuss how to pass legislation to crush opponents. (Much maligned House Un-American Activities Committee can't hold a candle to these people!)

They have no capacity for moral introspection. They have no use for logic or reason. They prefer reasoning by anecdote (George Floyd) to real statistics.

They have become freaks, monsters, creatures from the island of Dr. Moreau.

Sam.

Winston Churchill on Europe

During a parliamentary career lasting more than half a century Winston Churchill had much to say on almost every subject. Brexiteers like to quote him saying that Britain would always choose the open sea. He was a British Imperialist right enough but he envisaged a united Europe in alliance with the British Empire and the USA.

WC was responsible for the disastrous Gallipoli campaign in WW1, and for the Bengal famine of 1943 that killed three million people.. He was a great wartime orator who inspired the nation with his "Fight Them On The Beaches" speech, but he was voted out of office at the first opportunity in the 1945 general election.

The post-war Labour government kept out of the European Coal and Steel Community which was the forerunner of the European Union. Clement Attlee had just nationalized those industries in the UK and wanted to protect them. Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin was a passionate European who said: "My policy is to be able to take a ticket at Victoria Station and go anywhere I damn well please!" Unfortunately, he died in 1951.

When WC was returned as prime minister in 1951 he put Britain's links with the USA and the White Dominions ahead of Europe. He also warned his Cabinet about the dangers of immigration from the West Indies. On 3rd February 1954 he said: "Problems will arise if many coloured people settle here. Are we to saddle ourselves with colour problems in UK? Attracted by Welfare State. Public opinion in UK won't tolerate it once it gets beyond certain limits." But big business looking for cheap labour overruled the prime minister and the influx continued.

The European Economic Community, usually known as The Common Market, was founded by the Treaty of Rome in 1957. Britain applied to join in 1961 under Harold Macmillan but his bid was twice vetoed by General de Gaulle, in 1963 and again in 1967. The general died in 1969 and we eventually joined under Ted Heath in 1973. Following a close run referendum in 2016 we left the European Union under Boris Johnson at the end of 2020, but leading bookmakers are giving odds of 5/1 for the UK to rejoin the EU by 2026.

What We Stand For

The cross and star symbol used by Nation Revisited and European Outlook was designed by John Bean in 1957 for his National Labour Party.  The cross represents the Nation and the star represents Socialism.

A young John Tyndall speaking for the National Labour Party in 1959.

I use this symbol with JB's blessing because I believe in a representative political system for the whole of Europe. The NLP stood for Workers Partnership and European Co-Operation; noble principles that live on in Nation Revisited and European Outlook.

John Bean originally favoured Northern Europe but his landmark editorial in 'Combat' No 38, 1966, entitled "Let's Keep Nordicism in Perspective", concluded that we can't afford to discriminate between Europeans of the North and Europeans of the South.

We have left the EU but we are still Europeans by history, geography, race and culture. The petty nationalists now in power can't take away our birthright. Our ancestors all came from mainland Europe; Iberians, Celts, Romans, Anglo-Saxons, Vikings, and Normans. Our destiny is United Europe.

We stand for immigration control and political reform. Our first-past-the-post electoral system is blatantly unfair to the smaller parties. And the sleaze and corruption epitomised by 'Dodgy Dave' goes from bad to worse. Important decisions are not made in parliament but in the boardrooms of the great corporations. Those who finance the political parties effectively control them. You may put an illiterate cross against your favourite election candidate but the real winner is big business.

Police Powers

Home Secretary Priti Patel's amendment to the Public Order Act gives the police wider powers to control protests and demonstrations. This is a draconian move but with an 80 seat parliamentary majority Boris Johnson is practically an elected dictator who can do as he likes.

The police are supposed to enforce the law without fear or favour and the courts are supposed to be impartial, but both bodies are agents of the State and act accordingly. This is not just a British problem, it applies to all the so-called Western democracies.

It's total hypocrisy for Western politicians to criticise Russia or China for limiting democracy when they do exactly the same thing. We no longer send in the Dragoons with sabres drawn, as we did at Peterloo, but we have created a paramilitary police force dressed for battle and armed with tear gas, tasers, riot shields and batons.

Every government has a duty to protect citizens and property from mob violence. Without an effective police force the gangsters and anarchists would soon take over. But when the police go too far they must be reined in. The Black Lives Matter rioters tore down a statue in Bristol while the police looked the other way, but when a group of outraged women held a vigil for Sarah Everard in Clapham they were arrested and handcuffed. The politicization of the police will destroy public confidence and do nothing to preserve law and order.

Under the present system the public can never find a policeman, the Police are undermanned and underpaid, the courts dispense justice erratically, and our MPs accept regular pay rises.

Every so often a brave judge or senior police officer will challenge the government, but most of them keep their mouths shut for fear of their pensions. This has always been the case and it probably always will be. The British Government locked up over a thousand men and women without charge or trial under Defence Regulation 18B in 1940. That was under wartime conditions but they would do the same thing today if they wanted to. The Tories wave their Union Jacks but their 'treasured democracy' is a confidence trick and British Justice is a lottery.

Alison Chabloz has been sent to prison yet again for singing allegedly anti-Semitic songs. She is a brave woman but she can do nothing about what happened during the war. We can't overturn 76 years of incessant propaganda, but we can report crimes against humanity that are currently being committed by Israel.

Nation Revisited # 174 April 2021

The Big Reset

The Tories are planning to reset the economy when we get the Coronavirus under control. We don't know how much damage has been done to our infrastructure, or how long it will take to get back to normal, but we have borrowed an extra £350 billion, on top of our £2 trillion National Debt. The exact figures don't really matter because nobody understands sums greater than £1 million; the price of a flat in central London. The last time that we were in this much debt was in 1945, after six years of war. Fortunately, we were saved by American and Canadian loans that we finally paid back 61 years later in 2006.

Every penny that we borrow to fight the current pandemic will have to be paid back. So-called Quantitative Easing only works with a dynamic economy like the United States, otherwise it's simply money printing which always leads to runaway inflation.

An individual facing bankruptcy is offered a payment plan that helps him to pay back what he can afford. We, as a nation, need the same consideration. Chancellor Rishi Sunak knows that austerity is not the answer. We tried that after the financial crisis of 2008 but it took us ten years to recover. He also recognises that he can't tax workers who are already underpaid.

Our recovery will be a gradual rebuilding of the economy. The first thing we have to do is to face reality. We are a post-imperial European country with an economy comparable to France and Germany. We are not a great world power with a fleet that rules the waves. We once boasted: "We don't want to fight but by jingo if we do, we've got the ships, we've got the men, and we've got the money too." Those days are long gone but jingoism persists in the right wing of the Tory Party.

Boris Johnson is sending troops to Iraq to fight a resurgent ISIS, promising to build more atomic warheads, and dreaming of building a £ 20 billion fixed link from Scotland to Northern Ireland. His previous construction projects, an island airport in the Thames Estuary and a Garden Bridge in London, never materialised.

The Big Reset should be psychological rather than economic. We must stop pretending to be a superpower like America. We can take pride in our National Health Service, our universities, and our scientific achievements, but we must forget about threatening China or sending troops to the Middle East.

The Tories talk about 'levelling up' but any movement they make will be downward not upward. They have started by offering NHS workers an insulting 1% rise. With inflation at 1.5% this amounts to a pay cut.

Those working class constituents in the North and the Midlands who voted Tory for the first time at the last general election can congratulate themselves. They have returned a government that calls out China for human rights abuses but defends Israel for doing the same things, that promises to get rid of red tape but tears up health and safety legislation and workers' rights instead, that allows mass migration from Africa and Asia, and enforces 'emergency measures' to ban free speech and assembly. All of this is supported by the right wing press and ignored by an ineffectual Labour Party opposition.

The asset strippers, loan sharks, crooks, and speculators are free to plunder at the moment but greedy children always go too far and so do greedy capitalists. When they have robbed our country of its last penny they will move on to pastures new. Then we can build a fair society where hard work is rewarded. That may sound far-fetched but with empty high streets, closed factories, and rising debts, that day may not be far away.

Space Exploration

When I was a lad I read the Eagle comic and marvelled at the exploits of Colonel Dan Dare, the Pilot of the Future. I was sure that Britain would conquer space. In fact, our rocket, Blue Streak, was built in 1957 but scrapped in 1960 because it was just too expensive. It was a military project designed to deliver nuclear weapons to the Soviet Union but it was also a potential space rocket. In 1962 Harold MacMillan's government bought the American Polaris system.

The first man in space was the Soviet cosmonaut Colonel Yuri Gagarin who orbited the earth once in Vostok 1 in April 1961. This upset the Americans who rushed to get their astronaut, Alan Shepard, into space a month later.

The first Briton in space was Helen Sharman a 27 year-old scientist who travelled to the Soviet Mir space station aboard Soyuz TM 12 in 1991. At this time the Cold War was still going strong, with the Soviet Union fighting in Afghanistan against Muslim rebels supported by the West. As a result, Helen Sharman's achievement was largely boycotted by the UK media and she never got the recognition that she deserved.

The next Briton in space was NASA astronaut Michael Foale aboard STS-45 in 1992. He was the only astronaut to visit both Mir and the International Space Station.

And the third Briton in space was Major Tim Peake who travelled to the ISS aboard Soyuz TMA-19 on behalf of the European Space Agency in 2015.

We have left the European Union but we still belong to the ESA, although some of the anti-European fanatics in Boris Johnson's camp would like us to pull out. They have already forced our withdrawal from Galileo, the ESA satellite navigation system, after investing £1.2 billion in the project.

When the Coronavirus pandemic is over and the economies of Britain and the EU are back to normal, we can return to space exploration. It's mankind's destiny to reach for the stars, but the cost is too much for the UK on her own. That's why we must co-operate with our fellow Europeans. Space exploration is not a luxury that we can do without. It's a vital part of scientific research that we must be involved in. The space industry was worth £14 billion to the UK economy before the current crisis. Britain has always been in the forefront of science and this is no time to stop.

Trump and Johnson - Eric Galati of the Friends of Willis Carto

(This is part of an e-mail from Eric Galati commenting on my suggestion that Trump and Johnson are alike)..

I haven't any knowledge of Americans giving their support to Prime Minister Boris Johnson. There must be some, but he's just in my eyes a blowhard prat of a slob. He hasn't anything similar to President Donald John Trump. The difference is that Prime Minister Johnson is well ensconced in a Deep State Secret Government existence. President Trump wasn't but one man alone cannot do it all. Far too many looked at his election  as if it was Italy 1922 and Germany 1933. These unfortunate are not culturally well-grounded and have a limited intellect, hence their anti-historical vision. The coup d'etat against President Trump began from the very beginning with Republicans and its first overt source was the Congress respectively led by Speaker of the House Representative Paul Ryan and United States Senate Majority Whip Federal Senator Mitch McConnell. You might very well know that it was on the Republican side that a contract was made with Fusion Global Positioning Service to find scandalous dirt on Mister Donald John Trump during the primaries. Unlike Mister Boris Johnson, he was by default a catylist for an awakening of a political conscious in persons of all levels of life, who never cared at all about giving any serious thought about the political, and of bringing out of whatever ambient they came from militants of both the Left and the Right. The former I have designated Neo-Bolsheviks, a term now used by a number of persons thanks to my making it clear that to call this satanic scum Fascist Left is philosophically mistaken. Another difference between Trump and Prime Minister Johnson, is the active antagonism, hatred which I have never known in my life time against an elected politician , and without a doubt active espionage against him. Unlike Johnson he was anti-Global Existentialism.

Allow me to give you two more examples of the activity against Trump on two levels, military and Conservative mainstream  media: at a Freedom Seminar  hosted by Doctor Ron Paul, one of the speakers was United States Army Colonel Douglas Abbot MacGregor. He revealed that when a few years ago four aircraft carriers with one hundred thousand troops were sent to the Persian Gulf. Nevertheless it was not reported that Trump knew nothing of this and immediately called them back. He was very pro-Israel yet the mainstream media  never showed a speech he gave in I believe 2019 about the Plight of the Palestinians. The Conservative radio and television host, Mister Chis Salcedo played it while commentating  his dislike of it and alluding to it causing Jew hatred. Mister Baillie, the presidential elections were stolen and this is a fact. Second, I am deeply angry that he did not go to his death accepting the chalice, and pardon Messrs Julian Assange and Edward Joseph Snowden. Unforgiveable even though I know the warning Federal Senator Chuck Schumer gave him upon his being elected that if Trump thinks he's going to go against the Intelligence Agencies he better realise that they have seven ways to Sunday to handle someone. No he was very different to Johnson.

The West and the world are in very bad dire straights. And it's going I believe to get worse. I know there is a Technology of Evil from the top running this whole diabolical show. My belief coincides, finds its comliment, with these words by Mister Pier Paolo Pasolini.

"I know the names of those responsible for the slaughter. I know the names of the powerful group. I know the names of those who, between one mass and the next, made provision and guaranteed political protection. I know the names of the important and serious figures who are behind the ridiculous figures. I know the names of the important and serious people who are behind the tragic kids. I know the names and all the acts (the slaughter, the attacks on instructions) they have been guilty of. I know: But I don't have the proof. I don't even have clues."

Changing Times

The Coronavirus pandemic has revived calls for identity cards to record vaccinations. And, as expected, the 'libertarians' are up in arms at the prospect. Never mind that they carry credit cards, debit cards, driving licenses, oyster cards for travel, security passes for work, and passports to travel abroad. The last time that ID cards were discussed  they cried "Big Brother" and claimed that there was something un-British about them. But if we want to control immigration, and help the police and the health authorities we must have ID cards.

Cards recording your Coronavirus vaccination are already issued by the National Health Service.

People do not like changes to their daily routine but modern technology is unstoppable. Most people now use debit cards for their shopping which is making coins and notes redundant. My mother used to use the post office to pay her bills. She would join the queue at the post office counter with her utility bills and a purse full of money. Nothing was bought online. You would visit a shop, make your purchase and, if it was too heavy to carry, you would pay extra to have it delivered. How much easier it is today with your bills paid by direct debit and your shopping bought in a supermarket or ordered online to be delivered the next day.

The other great reform that's long overdue is proportional representation. Our first-past-the-post system doesn't allocate seats in parliament fairly. Under a PR system the Greens and the Liberal Democrats would have far more seats and the Tories would not have an absurd 80 seat majority.

The only hope for minority parties is PR, but when we had a referendum on the subject the so-called far-right parties campaigned to keep first-past-the-post. They are also against identity cards and far from embracing electronic payment, they want to bring back pounds, shillings and pence, as part of "our ancient weights and measures,"

Now that we have left the European Union some of the Brexiteers are trying to bring back the avoirdupois system but nearly all of the countries that they hope to trade with are completely metric. China, India, Australia, New Zealand and Canada don't understand pounds, ounces, pints or miles. Only the United States uses the old system but they are supposed to be changing and their armed forces and scientific community already use the metric system. We use a confusing mixture of old and new. We buy our fuel in litres but record our distances in miles. And we measure temperatures in degrees Celsius, except for the Daily Mail which clings to the Farenheit scale.

There are many traditions that are worth defending, such as Habeus Corpus, free speech, and universal health care, but outdated systems have no place in modern Britain. Let's complete the process that started in 1849 with the first coining of the Florin, which was one tenth of a pound, and while we are at it, let's dump the first-past-the-post electoral system, and introduce proper identity cards. We live in changing times.

There are many people on the far-right who blame change on the Frankfurt School, a group of left-wing academics who influenced politics. There is no doubt that they existed or that they set out to make changes in society, but most of the changes that they are held responsible for would have happened anyway, and very few students nowadays have even heard of them. Once slavery was abolished it was inevitable that the black people would seek education and advancement. Modern methods of production enabled people of all races to escape from poverty. It was not Karl Marx but Henry Ford who changed the world.

Nation Revisited 173 March 2021

It's all in the Mind

It takes twelve years training to become a psychiatrist, but we can all recognise anxiety and depression. These conditions have been highlighted by the current lockdown, but they have been with us for a long time.

The Brexit movement has little to do with economics; it's all about emotion. The Brexiteers believe that the EU is a dictatorship and they have convinced themselves that dark forces led by George Soros are behind it.

Now, the same people suspect that the Coronavirus pandemic is man made. They think that the Chinese have weaponised a virus to kill as many Westerners as possible. The fact that we are China's best customers doesn't register with them.

These ideas are driven by paranoia; a morbid anxiety tied up with feelings of persecution and a dislike of foreigners. In the UK they inspired the Brexit movement and in the USA they convinced Donald Trump's supporters that the presidential election  had been rigged against them.

The difference between sensible politics and paranoia is illustrated by attitudes to immigration. Reasonable people see immigration as cheap labour but the paranoid tendency sees it as a plot to destroy the white race.

It's all in the mind; the Jews are clever and resourceful people who run show business, but they do not run the world. Immigration is a matter of labour being attracted by capital. The European Union is a free collective of European states not a diabolical conspiracy to destroy Britain. The Coronavirus is a natural thing, not a plot by Bill Gates, George Soros, or the Chinese government. The most obvious answer is usually the right one; don't look for conspiracies.

Bill Barnes

The Alamy photo agency has stock photos of my old friend Bill Barnes with Captain Serecold Skeels. Skeels was a South African schoolteacher who, according to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, was a Nazi spy. Bill Barnes was a political activist who moved between the various fascist movements of the 1930s.

Unfortunately, I can't show the photos because they are not licensed for publication in the UK, but you can find them by searching for the United British Party in the Cambridge by-election of 1934.

Skeels intended to stand for the UBP but he pulled out.  Bill was the father of my school friend Paul Barnes, who introduced us to politics by taking us to Oswald Mosley's Union Movement meetings in Trafalgar Square and Kensington Town Hall. These meetings were usually peaceful until 1962 when Colin Jordan held a National Socialist Movement rally in Trafalgar Square which was smashed up by gangs of 'anti-fascist' thugs.

Later that year two East London meetings held on the same day were attacked by the same violent criminals. Union Movement's meeting in Ridley Road was turned over and so was the BNPs rendezvous point in Balls Pond Road. Most of us escaped injury but Bill Barnes, Jack Lelievre and a few others were badly beaten up.

Bill was acquainted with all of the pre-war and post-war fascist leaders including William Joyce who was hanged for treason for broadcasting from Germany during the war. Bill admired Oswald Mosley for his intelligence and Arnold Leese for his bravery, but his favourite was John Beckett who was godfather to his son Paul.

Little remains of Bill Barnes' writing which was mostly in the form of letters to newspapers, but John Bean records in his memoir 'Many Shades of Black' an article which appeared in my newsletter 'Nation in 1974, in which he called for an end to provocative marches. This was at the height of the National Front marches of the 1970s, but Bill, who had seen it all before. warned that the ensuing violence would be counter productive.

Bill was born in 1912 and died in 1981, his son Paul was born in 1946 and died in 2012.

Candour

I disagree with 'Candour' about our membership of the European Union, and I found the March 2011 issue unnecessarily offensive to the Irish, but I agree with them about immigration control and financial reform. And I admire Rob Black, the Candour webmaster, for keeping the magazine going during the enforced absence of their editor Colin Todd.

Politics in the age of Brexit has become a bitter affair in which people disrespect their opponents and dismiss them as traitors. There have always been MPs such as Bob Mellish the Labour member for Bermondsey who campaigned against coloured immigration. Or Jeremy Corbyn, the former leader of the Labour Party, who refused to abandon the Palestinians. Not to mention Enoch Powell the popular Tory MP who was sacked by prime minister Edward Heath for advising people to vote Labour.

Dissent should not be an offence in the parliamentary parties or in the movements of the so-called 'far right'. Candour stands for old-fashioned imperialism but it's entitled to its opinion. The following politically incorrect  passage is from an article by Hereward More entitled Black Lives Matter:

"We will defend all the statues against those who now attack them, apart from foreigners attacked for reasons foreign to our island story, such as those of Haile Selassie or Gandhi, although we have no great love for some of those depicted such as the arch globalist Woodrow Wilson or the champion of the Jewish moneyed interest Cecil Rhodes.

We will always defend the stand the Confederacy took against the financial power and progressive sentiment of the North, although we make no defence of slavery which was degrading because it brought our people (and other white nations) into close relations with lesser peoples very much to their own detriment and the benefit of the blacks involved as is proven by the fact that the descendants of slaves living in the Americas (even the worst parts of the Americas , Haiti and Cuba) are healthier and wealthier than those who stayed back home in Africa.

Candour believes that Black lives do matter, but they matter rather more to blacks than they do to anyone else. It is, therefore, as much for their own as for everybody else's benefit that they should live and work, and remain within their own self-contained communities until they can be returned to their ancestral homelands."

Candour is available from www.candour.org.uk

Jeffrey Hamm Addresses Birmingham Nationalist Club - 'Union' No 152 Saturday January 27th 1951

We left the European Union following a 48 to 52 percent referendum result but recent opinion polls show that the country is still divided. We may have left the EU but the debate goes on.

On the evening of Wednesday 17th January, members of the Birmingham Nationalist Club were addressed by Jeffrey Hamm of Union Movement (with the club's organiser Mr JCC Jordan in the chair).

Hamm opened his address by suggesting that although members of the club, as nationalists, might not be prepared to accept European Union as the alternative to internationalism, they would at least agree wkith him in his condemnation of the international system.  He proceeded to recall the widespread unemployment which had been caused in pre-war Britain by the activities of International Finance, which had been free to exploit the East and to flood Britain with produce of Oriental sweated labour. The natural reaction to this had been the emergence of the nationalist movement of British Union, which under the leadership of Oswald Mosley had advocated the development of Britain and of British Empire.

Today, the speaker suggested, anti-European nationalism was obsolet, No longer could "the former British Empire" be economically independent while, in the age of the rocket and the atom bomb, we could not shut our eyes to the danger of Europe being overrun by Communism from the East. We should, therefore, advance  beyond our pre-war nationalism to the new idea of "Europe a Nation."

Hamm said he sympathised with the nationalists in the desire to see an independent Britain arise again, but if they were realists they should agree that she could not do so as an isolated unit. The world today was dominated by the two forces of American Capitalism and Soviet Communism. It was, therefore, necessary, if we were to regain our independence, for us to create a "Third Force". That force was Europe, united as one nation in a common faith and idea.

Europe united could save the peace and win back the lands seized by the Soviet Union. Then, by turning to Africa, we could win our own foodstuffs and raw materials and thus regain our economic independence.

The speaker dealt with a number lof questions covering many aspects of Union Movement policy, and it is hoped that as a result of this meeting the Birmingham Nationalist Club will have advanced beyond their nationalism to the new conception of "Europe a Nation."

What is Wrong With Joe? - Sam Dickson

Cousin Morrison:

Someone like Biden and his disloyalty are easily explained when you think it through.

Our political system is selective for sociopaths.

Almost no one like the heroes of our history (Sir Fancis Drake, Bismark, President Polk, Jefferson) would seek public office in our universal suffrage democracy/plutocracy in which civil debate is controlled by an alien-owned news media.

American politics attracts sociopaths, Sociopaths do not have to bear the burden and suffer the restrictions imposed by normal feelings of loyalty, attachment and morality. Sociopaths do not connect. They are lone wolves. When they have families, the don't really have any emotional tie to them (like another of my distant cousins Senator John Edwards of N.C. to whom his teenaged sons death provided an opportunity to con voters by appealing to their sympathy and nothing more) . Their spouses and  children are just theatre props to put up in pictures on their office desk or in their campaign literature.

Sociopaths do not get emotional satisfaction from things that normal people need. They don't have to 'waste' their time with their families, friends, law partners, fellow Little League players or fraternity brothers. They can devote full time to their political careers. They can handle a life of several "appearances" per day at which they give little talks to strangers. They aren't impeded by having to go home for junior's birthday.

Sociopaths are not encumbered with any sense of shame. As shown in the example of Bill Clinton they suffer no emotional distress when a scandal like Monica Lewinsky giving him ten blow jobs in the Oral Office breaks.  A sociopath like Clinto can carry on without losing a minute's sleep in the midst of a scandal that normal people would find emotionally unbearable (like knowing that hundreds of millions of people all over the world + your wife + your daughter know that you spilled your seed ten times down the throat of an obese, ugly Jew girl.

Modern democracy is something new in modern history.

In previous times the more loyal you were to your people the more likely you were to rise to higher positions.

The commoner Francis Drake became a knight and was ennobled in recognition of his heroism in defending England from the Spanish Armada.

That's how men became leaders.

In modern American democracy it's the opposite... at least  for Whites.

Loyalty - of any kind - is a career impediment.

Loyalty to one's race, religion, region (the South) etc. are not only impediments. Those kinds of loyalty are radioactive, instant death.

Even loyalty to one's family is a career impediment. The normal young law firm associate wants to go home at 5.00 p.m. to be with his wife and child. The sociopath will work on till 8.00 on the important brief without any psychological  conflict. He'll call up the wife and tell her he won't be home for dinner without any upset.

This explains someone like Biden feeling no loyalty ro his country and being willing to pimp for those with power and money without any regard to what it means to people at large.

What makes the situation in America even worse, however, is that this situation is the opposite for the predatory ethnic groups seeking conquest at our expense.

Black, Hispanic, Jewish politicians are successful the more they are loyal. A law student who can put in his resume that he was President of the Black Law Student's Association, the La Raza Club or the Hillel Foundation enhances his chances of getting a high paying job with a prestigious law firm, a federal judgeship or election to the US Senate. (Like Sheumer who was recently caught  explaining to other Jews that his whole life is spent scheming on how to advance his own particular ethnic group.)

What these two contradictory patterns  lead to is what's going on in contemporary America.

Our antagonists are led by men  whose loyalty to their ethnic group exceeds that of most of the others.

We are "led" by people like Biden, Clinton, John McCain, William F Buckley Jr, Johnny Isakson, Lindsey Graham and McConnel who are bereft of loyalty to us.

This is another reason why there is no hope of reform under the present System.

Grown ups must think realistically and political campaogns to save America are unrealistic.

We must think and act "Post America."

Nation Revisited # 172 February 2021

Fishponds Road

Mark Cotterill, the editor of 'Heritage and Destiny' magazine, asked me about Fishponds Road which was the last address of Action Society and its journal 'Action'.

`

It all started in 1931 when Oswald Mosley founded the New Party with 'Action' as its newspaper. Following disappointing results in the 1931 general election the party was disbanded, but it was replaced by the British Union of Fascists in 1932, The movement published 'The Blackshirt' which was edited by AK Chesterton, and 'Action' which was edited by Alexander Raven Thomson from 1939 until it was closed down under Defence Regulation 18B in 1940.

Oswald Mosley published 'The Alternative' in 1947. The BUF believed in Imperial Preference but the Second World War had destroyed the Empire and Mosley realised that our future was with Europe. Union Movement was founded in 1948 with 'Union' as its newspaper. 'Union' was edited by Alexander Raven Thomson. He died in 1955 and 'Union' was replaced in 1956 by 'Action' edited by Robert Row. Mosley died in 1981 and the paper's financial position was reported in 'Action' of July 1981:

"By the end of June 'Action' had survived six months since the death of Sir Oswald Mosley, which was not only a grievous personal loss to us, but also deprived us of the quarterly fee he was paying us for research and secretarial services we provided for him. This aggravated our already grave financial problems."

'Action' of November 1983 was published form its new address, Nash House, Fishponds Road, Tooting, London SW17. This served as the headquarters for Action Society until May 1992. The post-war publication of 'Action' began in 1956, when it replaced 'Union', edited by Robert Row. It ended in November 1992 following the death of Jeffrey Hamm, the leader of Action Society.

The Friends of Mosley organisation was founded in 1982 and 'Comrade' was published as their in-house journal in 1986 under the editorship of professional journalist and press photographer John Warburton. He died in 2004 but 'Comrade' continued to be published until 2017.

There's no longer a hard copy journal dedicated to Oswald Mosley's ideas but they are propagated by the Friends of Mosley website: www.oswaldmosley.com

The Good Don't Realise How They Hand Power To Evil - Bernard Franklin

Many Europeans look aghast at the immoral actions of their government, as British and American servicemen, in particular, are sent to attack sovereign countries where we have no right to interfere. In whose interest are these attacks, usurpation of power, and theft of national assets taking place? The answer is the secretive New World Order that wants to rule the world. Are these murderers, corrupters, scaremongers, liars, cheats, thieves, destroyers of nations, cultures and civilisations really the kind of people who should be in charge of Western governments and as a result, have the ability to legislate for developing countries? The answer must certainly be no!

There are millions of good Christians who attend church every week ro ensure they follow God's laws. These churchgoing Christians, even collectively, do not possess the power to start warts, put countries in debt, or bully nations into acceding to unreasonable demands. Yet, through ignorance, it is good Christians who have voted the evil people into power. There are surprisingly some Christians who feel Satan has got so far with his programme of destruction, that he should be helped along until the situation becomes so terrible that Jesus Christ will have to take over. This makes no sense at all. We know which politicians are following the Anti-Christ agenda and logically, it can only be those with the ability to make changes that are responsible for the destruction of the white British nation and other countries.

The drive towards world government has created a situation where power is concentrated in very few hands. By taking charge of the West's armed forces, today's rulers, can inflict carnage on a scale unimagined at the time of the English or French revolutions. The saying that "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely" is very true. See how Tony Blair, George Bush, Winston Churchill, Obama, Sarkozy, May, Cameron and Boris Johnson having been elected as inappropriate national leaders, and went on to feel they have a right to act as universal Gods, despite their characters being seriously flawed.

According to Christian teaching we are put on earth to resist evil temptation. Then why, by voting for the major parties, has the predominately Christian public give an evil army complete control over our lives? One possible explanation for the sudden attempt o remove certain long established Arab leaders is that unlike Christian Europeans, they refuse to allow their people to become slaves to the bankers' system of usury.

The overall effect in the West has been to pass power to the unelected 1% of greedy manipulators. They have been able to buy up 95% of broadcasting companies around the world and control public thinking, start unnecessary wars, and control world trade, while their banking system has constantly devalued money. With their multinational corporations they have polluted our planet and been responsible for global warming. They are also the ones who committed the greatest single crime in history by making the atomic bomb.

Don't Neglect Those Worthy of our Support

There are many thousands of great Britons tirelessly working for the community without expecting payment or fame. Many do charitable work, while others try to gain some political say for the British. All of these volunteers give up their time, and spend their own money on what they consider to be vital for our collective welbeing. If you were to sit down and write a list of what you believe should be government policy, and present it to the Committee of the local Labour, Liberal or Conservative Party, you would find them either dismissive or hostile. There are many honest and knowledgeable Britons who could do a far better job than politicians. But none of them would join a political party. I don't know anyone who belongs to a political party. One has to be very brave in Britain today to stand up for the British. Doesn't this tell you that there is something terribly wrong with the political establishment? This is good reason to support those who raise their heads above the parapet for you.

To become a teacher in a comprehensive school today one has to be prepared to instil in white children a loathing of their own race. This teaching is followed up by dangerous race hate nonsense which suggests that  to overcome an illusory racism one should take a black partner. The origin of the anti white programme can be traced to September 1952, and is recorded in the files of the Canadian Intelligence Service. This non military warfare states: "We will identify with the races of Asia and Africa... In the interest of wiping out racial tensions (that they created with their immigration programme) whites must be forbidden from mating with whites. The white women must cohabit with members of the dark races, and white men with black women. Thus, the white race will disappear, and our most dangerous enemy will become only a memory." Like fools we allow our children at school to be programmed for our own racial suicide. Schools exert too great an influence on young minds to be left in the hands of our enemies.

Eustace Mullins

The speech mentioned by Bernard Franklin was given by Rabbi Emanuel Rabinovich to a meeting of the Emergency Council of European Jews in Budapest in 1952. The Jews denied that the speech had been made, just as they denied the 'Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion'.

The 'Protocols' appeared in Tsarist Russia in 1903. They were investigated by The Times newspaper and declared to be a forgery, but the great American industrialist Henry Ford was so impressed by them that he had half a million copies printed and distributed. He said: "The only statement I care to make about The Protocols is that they fir in with what is going on."

Eustace Mullins (1923-2010) obtained a copy of 'Our Race Will Rule the World Undisputed' from a Bulgarian diplomat who defected to the United States. It was published by several right wing journals including the Canadian Intelligence Service which was published by the Canadian League of Rights.

Eustace Mullins was a prolific writer on the Money Power and the Holocaust. He was convinced that the Federal Reserve was controlled by the Rothschilds. He campaigned for banking reform and contributed to James Madole's National Renaissance Party and Matt Koehl's American Nazi Party.

He was a disciple of the modernist poet Ezra Pound who was confined to a mental hospital by a vengeful American government for broadcasting from Italy during World War Two.

His books include; The Secret of the Federal Reserve, That Difficult Individual Ezra Pound, The Federal Reserve Conspiracy, The World Order, and Our Secret Rulers.

Like many anti-Zionists, Mullins never tried to justify what the  Nazis had done to the Jews, he simply denied the whole thing.

How Many People Actually Entered The Cabinet Building? -Sam Dickson

According to USA Today the day after the tempest in a teapot, "several dozen" Trump supporters entered the Capitol.

On the front page was a huge glaring headline saying "Pro-Trump Mobs Attack Capitol."

(One mob was not enough. It has to be mobs, plural. I couldn't figure out where the different mobs came from.)

The front page was full of shocking accounts of what transpired - in generalities. Lots of "wide brush" tactics. "Trump demonstrators looted the Capitol." Things like that.

But when you turned to Page 2, the story began to shrink and shrink as the facts sifted out from the hyperbole and hysteria.

Instead of "mobs " storming into the Capitol as asserted on Page 1, the reader learned that "several dozen" Trump supporters entered the building. (it wasn't expressly stated but the pictures made it clear  that many thousands of Trump supporter demonstrators did NOT attempt to enter the Capitol but simply stood on the steps and street in front of the Capitol with their protest signs and flags.) Somehow, all of them are guilty.

Please remember that demonstrations take place on the Capitol steps ALL THE TIME. I personally have witnessed around 10 such demonstrations when I have walked past the Capitol on trips to DC. The last one was a demonstration by Sarah Brady's people in support of gun confiscation. So it is absolutely NOT a crime or anything out of the ordinary for demonstrations to take place there.

As one continued to read USA Today, one saw lots of pictures and stories about the "several dozen" illegal entrants.

Of course, there were the ubiquitous pictures of the guy holding the podium (this was the only picture of any looting but the Media labels all the Trump supporters as "looters,") or the guy with his feet on Pelosi's desk, the guy with the only Confederate flag in view (this has become mass displays of Confederate flags  according to media like National Public Radio on its "All Things Considered") and the guy repelling from the balcony into the House Chamber.

So that's 4 out of the "several dozen."

The rest of the illegal entrants appear in pictures answering questions from journalists, walking around the hall carrying a sign or a flag. etc.

Please also remember that incidents like this one are commonplace,

You will remember that during the tense hearings on the shocking and breath-taking issue of whether or not Kavanaugh came on to a woman 37 years ago, when he was 17 rears old and a drunk 11th grader, the hearings were several times interrupted by organised groups of feminists standing up and shouting down the hearings before being dragged out by the police. Nothing to be upset about there!

This is an elaborately feigned morality fit.

An academy award should be given to Shoomuh, Pelosi and the others for their acting in the drama.

The End of an Era

Donald J Trump has finally left the White House after four flamboyant years. His populist regime was supported by half the American electorate, but Joe Biden won the race to be president. One geriatric Zionist has been replaced by another. Both of them serve what President Eisenhower called "the military industrial complex."

President Donald Trump masqueraded as a businessman but he turned out to be just another bandwagon jumper who would do anything to stay in power. He started to build a wall to keep the Mexicans out, but he employed them on his construction sites. He banned Muslims from entering the US, except for those shopping for military hardware with which to attack their neighbours. He didn't start any new wars but he provoked a trade war with China, despite China's massive ownership of American bonds. And he quit the Paris agreement on climate change and the World Health Organisation.

As far as the UK is concerned, we will slavishly follow whoever is in charge of the US. Boris Johnson and his motley crew are obsessed with 'sovereignty' but they cherish the 'special relationship' between the UK and the US. In fact, their only special relationship is with Israel. America came to our aid in both world wars, and we speak the same language, but American foreign policy has always put America first.

The Coronavirus pandemic has severely damaged the American economy, but no nation is better placed to recover. The US is self sufficient in gas and oil and has almost unlimited industrial potential. A resurgent America would revitalise Europe and the UK. We live in a global economy where the success of one nation does not depend on the failure of another. When America booms the whole world booms. We therefore pray for the success of the Biden government.
